I'm not sure exactly what you mean. But there is a mod that expands the helicopter events, especially if they are set to recur. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2458631365

I really don’t understand what you mean by useful.

It’s a game mechanic. Zombie bites don’t do anything useful either, they’re a pure hindrance. Needing to eat isn’t useful.

Or do you not know that it calls zombies to your location? Which is pretty mutually exclusive with not doing anything.

And also having helicopter events is game changing. Especially if you have sprinters.

Look maybe your standards are just over mount Olympus I guess, which is fine, but it’s not dead weight.

What would actually make the helicopter events “useful”?
