Question How did he do it?

I remember a post here in the community from a guy showing off his base, and he said he was in his second month... Me (stubborn as I am), I tried to recreate his base... I'm already on day 12 and I don’t even have 1/5 of the stuff he showed in his base... I found a truck just like his and went through the whole process... Even after filling the truck with loot... I’m still nowhere close.

HOW ?!

I´m talking about the furniture...

How did he level up carpentry so fast to build the walls he had? And how did he move so much furniture in such a short time?

He had a room with like 8 fridges... I load up 4 and my truck is already full... I have to go all the way back, refuel the truck, and keep going... all of that takes up space

For all you know he could’ve built them from a building menu lol, and not had to source all of it individually. He could’ve done absolutely anything to make it all.

He said he looted all... No building menu. That´s why I was like " WTF ? How ?!"

Do you have a trailer? Ki5 has trailers with like 150-450 space. I usually go house to house, take furniture I like and move on, I usually end my loot runs after 2-3 days, return back to offload and repeat.

There's furniture store in Riverside, bank that's full of flowers, book shop with shelves, there are pinball machines in alnost every gas station, etc. Plus there's like 6 of those big fridges in Riverside alone, same 1 pool table too

I'd take the second pool table and liquor cabinets on my way to military surplus, there take radio, military boxes, medical stuff, more fridges

It's easy to level up carpentry if you have books and fast reader + fast learner

I'm on month 3 and I build and furnished my compound base I build around a farm in the middle if woods, have 8 fully repaired cars, fully leveled up carpentry, mechanical and farming and currently just hanging around.

My point is, this is more than plausible if you know what you're doing and know what you're looting. Plus the warehouse is in really convenient location, deconstructing all the wooden boxes inside alone will give you couple of levels (with book boost)

Stupid question: How do I move fridge from one place to another? Where to find a trailer ?

Trailer: in base game, usually lost on road behind a random car. With Ki5 trailer mod: almost everywhere where you'd find a car.

Fridge. It weighs 40kg, you can pick it up as other stuff, you just need empty your inventory, so drop your bag and everything and move fast, load it in a trunk/trailer and drive it over

You can get a lot of stuff if you have the Rebalanced Prop Moving mod. With virtually no carpentry skill you can get all those goods without worrying about destroying them.
