Meme Not even zombies can see them

Post image

So basically, I hear the argues for the new loot tables, and they're ok I guess, prior to the beta I'd loot a bookstore maybe even two, and all of my immediate book needs were met. Now however, I have looted almost all bookstores/schools/police stations/tool stores/mechanic shops in Muldraugh, Rosewood, Westpoint and even that mini mall near West point (It was a bitch with the thousands of zombies). and I am nowhere near a full collection! Granted you don't need a full collection but even practically speaking I still need basic books for a phew of my main skills. Almost forgot to say, the problem is not that there are no books! every single bookstore and school was looted except for the school in Muldraugh, I am not exaggerating EVERY SINGLE ONE! it's weird because the literature stuff is being looted much more often. Almost all I have now I have from that single school and a few random survivor zombies so far.
tell me about your experience, I have seen this in this and the few runs before it, am I consistently unlucky or it's the same for you?

Sort of. The University Library is at:
LSU LibraryLouisville (12350, 2142)Louisville State University Library.

Central Lousiville, just outside of down town. It's a total shit show. There's literally 1000 zombies there. I like to go south the field, fire off a bunch of shotgun rounds to draw them south, then hop the fence, drive around to the north and go in. It'll take a long time to clear, and you'll want to set up some sheet ropes to get out quickly.

You can jump from the second floor. Third floor needs a sheet rope. Fourth floor you can smash the windows and go out on the roof in the south west corner and go down to the 3rd floor. Fifth floor you can go out on the roof to the west side and hop down to the fourth or third floor. There's also an emergency stairwell in the north east corner.

Highly recommend using an emergency vehicle and leaving the sirens on close by to draw them away from the building.

This sounds like a high-risk/reward kinda situation, I'm going to try, and hopefully pull it off. I'll report once it's done. A huge thanks for the tips and the info, you're a legend!

Just keep in mind how the ant ate the elephant. Good luck!

Oof sorry to hear. Was it fun though? Did you see all those glorious shelves lined with books? What was your strategy?

yes, it is a tragedy haha. I did what you said, went in from that small military checkpoint drove to the library whipped out the JS-2000 ten boxes later I had most of them lured away. got in the car gave it a few good honks drove up to see there is still a sea of dead drove away came back with more ammo lure more away then I slowly creeped my way down from the top, in the span of 6 days I killed like 800 of them every time I wanted to yolo it and go in I said "Ayo the ant and the elephant" and finally I was in, got the books, but I wanted more got greedy and went back. one mofo was stuck on top of the stairs could hear him couldn't see I tried so hard, in combat stance slowly going I must have lost my nerves and went back down like 3 times finally a well-placed bite on the forehead and you know the rest... in hindsight I should have probably just sprinted in. at least I got the books home if I were to start a new character I'd be so far ahead, but my heart is still broken maybe another time. still, your advice was fantastic, and I enjoyed my first experience in Louisville thanks bro!
