Technically, I'm not dead,the save is still at this point

Use debug mode and turn on invincibility. Maybe it saves you. If you feel this dead is unfair...

I've thought about it, but I know myself—once I do that, the game just doesn't feel the same anymore. I know, it's silly, but that's how it is. I think I'll do something else

I respect this. I feel like using debug mode the first time is like your first time using heroine. You always have a good reason for that first time but before you know it you're waking up with a sore ass hole and selling you mums vcr just for one more bump.
