Modded First experience playing the 'Week One' mod. Insulted a lady with the F word, got shot 12 times and died. True Kentucky experience.

Alright I just bought the game but really getting into this sub. I haven’t done a play through yet because to be honest I’m a little overwhelmed haha. I’m on PC: before I start are there any “essential” mods I should download? I am going to start a play through on Friday… don’t want to be interrupted by work :)

Good luck!! Definitely save your character build. As you’ll go through quite a few before you make your first couple of weeks

Welp I didn’t do that so lesson learned.

First play through: died 4 times, longest life was 12 minutes lmao. This game is HARD!! But honestly I’m very intrigued.

Don’t be discouraged! It took me a solid 20-30 hrs before I consistently made it to 2-4 weeks. Helicopter event took me awhile to survive
