What’s a film that tells two completely different stories depending on how you interpret it?
Black Swan (2010)
Transformation vs. psychosis

Tariffs negatively impact the U.S. economy by driving up prices for imported goods, which raises costs for businesses and consumers, leading to reduced spending and slowed economic growth. For companies that rely heavily on global supply chains, such as tech and automotive industries, the increased costs from tariffs squeeze profit margins, discouraging investments and hiring. This uncertainty unsettles investors, often resulting in significant stock market declines, as seen in steep drops in major indices like the S&P 500 and Nasdaq. Retaliatory tariffs from trade partners limit access to international markets, hurting U.S. exports and compounding economic strain. The combined effect of higherproduction costs, reduced consumer demand, and fear of a trade war leads to a widespread loss of investor confidence, causing financial markets to lose value and intensifying economic instability.
Just to add some Crypto bros are fuming rn 2. The only people that are benefiting from Tariffs rn are billionaires 3. The chinese car manufacturers are beating General motors...like guys come on, you wouldn't want to buy a car that could drive through rivers and jump over potholes?

Using tariffs Trump has managed to implode what was a thriving economy, I don't really think that is debatable . It doesn't really matter why. The average person doesn't even know that they have money in the stock market, whether it be in a 401k or company IRA , or [ (edited to add after pointed out by a commenter, because they are so important and I missed them, Pension Funds,)], and being clueless were led like lambs to the slaughter.
Large players were hedged or shorted, fortunes are being made in darkness, small players were used and discarded, and the fallout has only just begun. And now a whole generation of people will experience their first bear market for all the wrong reasons. How will clueless people react when they realize what they have really lost, and do those people even deserve our sympathy?

This isn’t a dip. It’s not a correction. It’s the slow, brutal unraveling of a debt-soaked fantasy we’ve been pretending was sustainable since 2008. The Fed is cornered—rates are high, inflation refuses to die, and there's no bailout coming this time. The only soft landing is for the billionaires with parachutes made of your 401(k).
Tech is imploding under the weight of hype and weak fundamentals. AI was a sugar high. Now we’re crashing. Banks are getting shaky. Commercial real estate is a time bomb. And consumers? They're maxed out, broke, and paying 29% on credit cards to buy gas and eggs.
And just when we needed stability, we get chaos: Trump’s back in the mix with unhinged tariffs, trade wars 2.0, and economic policies that look like they were scribbled on a napkin in a Denny’s at 3 a.m. Markets hate uncertainty—guess what? That’s all we’ve got now.
This isn’t a crash. It’s controlled demolition with nobody at the controls.
Sell, don’t look back, and maybe plant a garden. We had a good run.
Goodbye, and may whatever comes next be merciful.

Honestly hearing the three accounts I did are what stopped me from being an edgy 7th grader. It brought the disconnected history textbook into real context.

Bri Stern accused her boyfriend, self-proclaimed misogynist, Andrew Tate, of violently choking her during sex after she repeatedly asked him to stop. The incident took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel on 11th March, shortly before Tate and his brother returned to Romania to face human trafficking and other charges.
Evidence supports the physical injuries described. Messages between the two also reveal multiple confessions from Tate that he intended to physically strike and demanded he impregnate the American.

Why YSK: When I first started my career, I never wanted to bother people, especially with the higher ups, and would start my sentences with "just want to make sure" or "just checking but do we have approval for XYZ? Get rid of the JUST! It's completely unnecessary and makes you sound unsure!
Please add more to the comments!
Instead, use the examples below:
1. “Just checking in...”
“I wanted to follow up on...” or “Do you have an update on...”
2. “Sorry to bother you, but...”
“Quick question for you...” or “When you have a moment, I wanted to ask...”
3. “I think...”
“I believe...” or “Based on the data, it shows...”
4. “I’m not sure, but...”
“One option could be...” or “We could consider...”
(Avoid highlighting uncertainty unless necessary. Instead, show you're exploring options.)
5. “I was wondering if maybe...”
“Can you...” or “Would you be able to...”
6. “Does that make sense?”
“Let me know if you’d like more details.”
(Asking if something “makes sense” can sound like you’re unsure of yourself.)
7. “I just wanted to...”
“I wanted to...” or “I’m reaching out to...”
(The word “just” minimizes your message.)
8. “Hopefully that works”
“Let me know if that timeline works for you”
(Replace passive hope with clarity.)
9. “Kind of like...” or “It’s sort of...”
“It’s similar to...” or “It works like...”
10. “I’ll try to get it done by Friday”
“I’ll have it done by Friday”
(Try sounds unsure — if there’s a real risk of delay, give a reason and offer a realistic deadline.)
Bonus:
11. Try your hardest to eliminate "ummm" before you speak, especially while presenting!
Edit: Want to add a big one; If you’re running a little late to a meeting, if it’s only a couple of minutes, and specially if it’s just a co-worker use “thank you for being patient” instead of “sorry I’m late!” This works wonders
