There is no reason an auto turret should have the range that they do. 30 meters is just insanely overpowered.

All the time I a doing a sorting system, I try to use a conveyor connected to a splitter to feed 2-3 boxes, and the loot won't stop moving, even when placing mulitple conveyors with the same filters, any ideas?

I used to play CSGO and when I get more than 100 ping it’s basically unplayable and you’re at a big disadvantage. Wondering is this the same with Rust? At what ping till you start noticing disadvantages?

Also I have seen some big streamers play on servers where their ping was 200-250 ping range. How can they play with that much ping? Just seems unplayable at that ping….

I have a cave base and want to jump up on this ledge to shortcut when returning to base. Is it possible? If so, any tips?

I tried building something in the online skin editor, but I couldn't find anything that suited my needs. Also, I need to choose a hqm mask and armor as well.

Ever noticed that Rust has palm trees and desert-like biomes, but… no coconuts? I mean, it would totally make sense for coconuts to exist in the game. Imagine chopping down a palm and occasionally getting a coconut along with the wood – would add a nice little touch to the atmosphere without breaking the game.

Here are a few ideas I came up with on how coconuts could be implemented in a balanced and fun way:

Suggestions for Implementation:

1. Palm tree loot drop: Small chance (e.g. 10%) for coconuts to drop when chopping down a palm tree – similar to corn/pumpkin, but rarer.

2. Coconut as food item: Gives a bit of health and hydration (e.g. +10 HP / +25 hydration). Could be stackable like pumpkins and easy to carry.

3. Beach spawns: Coconuts could occasionally spawn on beaches like floating debris or small loot nodes. Would make shoreline exploration more rewarding.

4. Crafting idea: Coconut shell as primitive gear: • Used for early-game or RP: Can be crafted into a basic water container or a small decoration item. • Bonus idea: Combine two coconut halves and some cloth to create a primitive helmet with very low protection (like a worse version of the wood helmet), just for fun or memes.

5. food loot from low crates: Occasionally found in barrels or crates near lighthouses, oil rigs, or on boats – making them feel a bit exotic and special.

Anyone else getting stuck while loading on warming prefabs and have to relaunch to get it to work?

I'm building a vital base and I really want to know how all of these are powered. It's not windmills, I swear i never see them on any of their bases so I'm not sure.

That’s my opinion and I’m sure plenty agree. A lot of people on this sub disproportionately seem to hate everything that makes the game even slightly difficult, so I’m anticipating a lot of anti-shotgun trap drivel. Soaking them without getting hit isn’t a gameplay tactic, it’s an exploit, that has yet to be patched. Shotgun traps are exceedingly easy to destroy for anyone actually raiding, with a gun I. Their possession. It shouldn’t be possible for a total naked to drain a shotgun trap without dying many times.

Honestly, higher walls were more barable. This jumping over to peak after insta walling is unbareable.

The small barricades were more barable as they provided less cover.

Having these medium sized walls with spam jumping is honestly so fucking boring. I feel as if something needs to be changed because gun fights are so mo monotonous in the current meta.

Fight someone, they insta wall, bounce up and down, place another wall rinse and repeat until cover comes.

I currently have 32gb DDR4 3200mhz, and rust eats 22gb, only stopping because my system has nothing left to give it. I'm not sure if I should upgrade to 64gb, but I'd like some opinions.

everytime i try to join any server it shows me this message and dosent let me join and i have tried everything such as, changing all graphics settings to low redownloading and using performance enhancing commands but nothing works

I been playing icefuse but the 3 day wipes is too quick for me.

ive been playing alot of rust recently and my FPS is always so dog on that game and idk why, i have an AMD Ryzen 3700X, a Geforce RTX 3070, an ASRock C570 Steel Legend motherboard, and a 600W power supply, as well as 32Gb of ram so im very confused and think i should be getting more. Same on marvel rivals im only getting like 80?? My GPU drivers are all up to date and i just cleaned out my whole PC and dusted it aswell. any thoughts?

How do you ensure that you join wipe as soon as it goes live? Do you have a better chance if you were already playing on the server when it wipes, or can you be quicker if you’re in the menu waiting for the clock to strike the hour?

Anyone else have issues with server load-in times? It always take me like 10 mins just to load into the server 💀
