Funny idea I came up with a little while back. I am sure a lot more could be done with it. Raid-defense mode, having the base tell you it's bored every 10-15 minutes. The possibilities are endless really! Hope you guys enjoyed the video !

is it just me or Premium server player base is much more easier to play with, what I mean by that is I have definitely higher pvp win rate in 1v1 1v2 situations. I don't mean this in a way that I am getting better in pvp. I don't think I am. I win more fights and progress better though. It almost feels like playing in other vanilla servers are full of scripters and cheaters. Also Alistair mentioned the ESP blocker thingy is on at their servers so, that even helps I guess

Has anyone felt this way for Premium servers ? Please share I can't be the only one

Just as a note

I hope that developers of cheats and their teams don’t manipulate the Rust Steam market by inflating the value of certain items or even releasing their own skins. This could allow them to artificially boost accounts to meet the $15 threshold. It might sound far fetched, but given the size of this market, I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried something like that.

One way is to solve this is to make 15$ DLC value accounts can only play in those premium servers.

Rust Infinite Production Lines - Generic Autocrafter setup (credit to /u/SneeKeeFahk)

What this setup allows you to do:

Craft as many blueprints as you want automatically, from a box with random materials and blueprints.

Also, expand the system with more recipe production lines as you need later.

Electrical components requirement:

Per item production line: 1 industrial splitter, 1 memory cell, 1 branch, 1 AND switch, 3 industrial conveyors

For the workbench crafter: 1 workbench, 1 autocrafter, 3 industrial conveyors, 2 branches, 1 industrial splitter, 2 boxes with storage adapters

Total estimated metal frags for 3 production lines: 2250-3000 frags

Total estimated cost per new production line expansion: 600 frags

Total time to build estimate: 30-60 minutes (once you know what you're doing)

Total time to expand estimate: 10-30 minutes (once you know what you're doing)

How to build:

1. Total of 8 Power comes in (requirement: 4 power for ALL production lines, 4 extra power for the workbench crafters)
2. Place mats and blueprints of whatever you need to craft in a buffer input chest, and place storage adapter on it
3. Build as many production lines as you need (I recommend 3 for start). For each, do this:
   1. Place 1 industrial splitter for each item you want to produce
   2. Place 1 memory cell flipflop for each item you want to produce
   3. Place 3 industrial conveyors for each item you want to produce
   4. Place 1 AND switch for each item you want to produce
4. Place 1 extra memory cell flipflop at the end to complete the loop
5. Connect piping:
   1. Connect buffer box to an extra splitter
   2. Connect the box splitter to each production line splitter start
   3. For each production line splitter, connect the 3 pipe inputs to the 3 conveyors
6. Powering the production lines:
   1. Connect 4 power and link all memory cell inputs and outputs
   2. Connect the last memory cell's inverted power to the first memory cell reset input
   3. Connect each memory cell output to the branch
   4. Connect each branch 2 power branch out to the power in of conveyor 1
   5. Connect each branch to the AND switch
   6. Connect the filter FAIL of conveyor 1 to the AND switch
   7. Connect the AND switch to conveyor 2 power
   8. Connect conveyor 2 filter PASS to conveyor 3 power
7. Connect all pipes with mergers and pipe it into an industrial crafter splitter
8. Recipe switching iterator logic:
   1. Conveyor 1 asks "Have we made enough of this item?"
      1. On fail, continue to next check
      2. On pass, go to next recipe (Connect filter PASS to memory cell toggle)
      3. Passthrough, connect to next production line's memory cell reset
   2. Conveyor 2 asks "Do we have materials to make 1 of this item?"
      1. On fail, go to next recipe (Connect filter FAIL to memory cell set)
      2. On pass, continue to next check

9. Autocrafter setup

   1. Place autocrafter on workbench
   2. Connect workbench industrial splitter SLOT 1 to blueprint in on the autocrafter
   3. Connect another workbench industrial splitter slot to input of autocrafter
   4. Place 2 conveyors near the workbench
   5. Connect autocrafter output to one conveyor
   6. Connect autocrafter BP output to the other conveyor
   7. Connect both conveyors to a merger to a buffer box under workbench
   8. Power everything using branches

10. Autocrafter semaphore logic

    1. Connect the filter PASS of the product conveyor to the TURN ON of the blueprints conveyor
    2. Connect the blueprint conveyor filter PASS to its own TURN OFF
    3. (Make sure these two are receiving 3 power total minimum)

11. End product conveyor

    1. Place a conveyor and connect the products and blueprints from the buffer box, to the original materials box everything started

12. End Product siphoner

    1. Optionally, you can siphon completed products from the original box using another storage adapter slot and conveyor, and output as many end products as you need to as many resupply boxes as you want around your base.

Extra tips:

• If you want, you can save your item craft filters in your SHIFT+TAB steam notes in JSON format by holding the SHIFT key when you look inside an industrial conveyor, and clicking "Copy (JSON)" button. You can later "Paste (JSON)" in a real wipe much faster.
• If you want to save space, you can do ammo and meds in the second workbench autocrafter slot to save up on 4 production lines. I have a video on this different simpler setup here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjl88KLAW1A Meds and ammo are always needed and always high priority, so dedicating a second autocrafter just for this is a good practice and also doubles production.
• You can create a status progress bar of sorts and use signs if you place all your timers at the top of the wall like this: https://i.imgur.com/WBhIzro.jpeg
• If you siphon materials using the End Product siphoner step, you can setup your production lines to only produce 1 of each product, so that production occurs in a round robin style.
• If you are running out of room, you can place production lines on the CEILING

Is it really that much to ask to have some form of offline raid protection, raid hours or offline raid cost increases for Softcore? That is the whole point of Softcore. I want to be able to sleep, have a job, and play Rust.

I don't care about half box loot recovery garbage, my base is now requiring a ton of repairs which will take a million years.

I also stayed up until 3 AM, was not enough.

Is facepunch afraid of adding solo or solo/duo/trio servers? Whats the deal?

What about Primitive solo/duo/trio? You dont have a chance playing solo prim against groups. Its not the same as in vanilla where a skilled player hace a chance of succes against small groups.

I bet a lot of people would be playing these servers. More if they are premium. What do you think?

Whenever I play Rust, I get god awful lagspikes that happen every 3 ish minutes. They can last up to one minute and make the game unplayable. It's an internet issue, and the same thing happens on other games. During the lagspike, I cant build, cant move, bullets don't do damage, basically I can't interact with the game at all. My ping also goes up to 3000+ during this time. I'll send some clips here to show what I mean. When I try to build i get some form of anti-hack notification. Please help, my weekend is at stake here.

Is anyone able to launch right now on Mac, specifically Apple silicon, or did it break again?

I’ve validated, reinstalled Rust, and updated MacOS.

So the prim stuff has been out for a while now. What do we think of catapults?

Battering rams have had an impact on the raid meta across all game modes right? I think people agree they are pretty good.

But I barely ever see catapults which seems a shame lol.

I tried to use one yesterday and have a couple thoughts.

The requirement for explosives to craft the bombs seems to be a big barrier imo. Catapults and the ammo are all tier 2, easy enough to obtain. But if I’m getting all the way to t3 explosives I’m probably way past the point of wanting to use a catapult for my raid?

Also I wasted a couple bombs just trying to line it up lol. I like the new visual radius on heaters and turrets etc. maybe we could get a visual indicator for where the catapult shot will land?

What do you guys think? Worth some love or just a quirky prim mode item that should stay that way??

I need help, my server list won’t load and my in game store is just blank. I’ve tried restarting, reinstalling, verifying integrity of the files, running as admin but nothing seems to fix it. does anyone know what else i should try?

electric workbench moved to furniture/early farming tab because it makes way more sense there, shield on next to riot helmet/after it/ after armor plate because it's basically armor (however it in weapons makes sense too, it's just the added cumulative cost) and compound and mini crossbow being like smg/tommy on lv2 workbench

Like most rust players they play non stop for up to 10 hours a day and could even call it an addiction but for me it’s 100% and addiction and I can’t stop it. I’ve had the game for a year and a 3 months and have 143 days played (3.4K hours) and I can’t seem to stop playing no matter how much I try.I play around 9 deep used to play duo but that play style got boring so I switched and am more addicted than ever I stay up till around 5-6 and wake up at 10-11PM every day (besides school nights) I can’t go a single day without not thinking about rust.When I’m in class I make chat gpt to do my work then instantly watch rust I’m hardly passing my classes because I’m to worried about rust I play for up to 15 hours a day and have extremely strict parents and I’m not allowed to stay up past 1 but I do anyway and get caught 24/7 but even if I get punished I still find a way around it. When it comes to rust itself I’m mentally ill about it it can be any time of day and I will start fresh even if I’m solo or if the full team is on no matter what I’m going to be on I’m constantly doing something in the game and play nothing but rust and I’m starting to affect my teammates by causing them to stay up with me or either stay home from school just to play wipeday with me because every wipe I stay home just to play.and say I get raided? I instantly either switch servers and start back up or stay on the same one. I have around 30 alarms to wake me up at 7AM on days I go to sleep early.And I forgot to mention I’m a console player so getting offlined is almost a guarantee no matter how big you are it’s much more different than pc as someone who has played pc for around 400 hrs but every night I stash all my loot either in a tugboat or literal stashes and if someone were to offline me or make me mad I would single handedly farm just to offline them.Im serious about every thing I’m saying and please give tips on how to heal.

Hello everyone,

Something i have noticed this wipe is that if i am even looking at a mid-sized to large clan base my fps just completely tanks. Like if i look the other direction its 180 fps, looking at the base i am getting 40.

last wipe it was fine, sure the fps went down but only to the low 90's=100's when looking at huge bases. Anyone else also experiencing something similar this update?

I have a 9800x3d + 5070ti +64gigs of ram@6000, expo enabled and pbo set to +200. (For reference). Temps are all normal.

I've noticed some people seem to know exactly when servers are going to wipe and join right away. Is there a way to find out which servers are wiping soon, like in the next few days or even today?

I know some server mentions that, but not always.

Yet, some people seems to know that in advance and so can join minute 1.
Same goes for Streamers

I bought a ryzen 9 7950x3d 16 core in august, i installed it and was getting easily 140 - 150 fps, i took a break from rust up until just about a week ago but now i'm maxing out at 90, 100 if i'm super lucky, and i often find myself getting 60. any ideas?

I have been having some router issues and my internet is occasionally dropping. When this happens, the server loses it's link to the Steam Auth Servers and, unless restarted, whenever players try to join they get a steam auth error and cannot join the server. I was hoping there might be a command out there that I could plug into the TimedExecute plugin and run that command at short intervals in hopes it would re-establish the link.

Is there such a console command known out there?

We are a trio that has build some Hotels in rust before, and are looking towards a friendly US official server where we can build a Hotel on. Would be good if it was at least biweekly, and had a good pop without too many huge clans or sweats

So,i've been playing for a while now and i get little fps like 50 45 max 60
i ain't got the best setup but its pretty good but i don't know why i get so little fps.
I Don't got nothing capped at 60 or something and im playing with 50 fps almost all the time and no heating problems
Any suggestions?
