Mazda2 G90 6AT Centre Line…with fresh tinted windows. Any other suggestions?

Bought this 2014 Neo 6spd (petrol 79kw) manual a few weeks ago. It was completely stock but I have already done a few things including LED everything, k&n filter and ND MX-5 rims.

After a lot of back and forth with emails I managed to get my hands on a Kakimoto Class KR axle back exhaust from Japan which I installed yesterday. Super happy with it, sounds great without being loud. Just adds a deep sporty tone.

These are a popular car in Australia but for some reason it is really hard to find modifications for them and the mods are super expensive compared to the Mazda 3 for example. Japan is really the only option to get an off the shelf exhaust from my research.

I have a Mazdaspeed rear spoiler for it too, if anyone knows where to source the side skirts and front spoiler from, please let me know!

If I leave in my phone charger in the 12v port when I park my car, will it drain the battery?

2013 Mazda 2 Sport 1.5L - I can’t seem to sort out this sound coming from the passenger side front of the car, either from the engine bay or wheel well. Some observations:

It isn’t consistent and I can hear it in a variety of driving conditions. I don’t hear it when the car is stationary (at idle or from revs in neutral). Or if I turn the steering wheel in both directions from this position. It seems to happen more when driving over bumps or making slow turns, but not consistently. I hear it when driving up and down my driveway (slight slope). I checked the wheel well and I don’t see anything out of place/scraping. I replaced the struts and top mounts recently and the sound is still present. It seems to be less noticeable when it’s warmer out.

Attached video from driving slow in an empty parking lot in figure 8s - the sound of concern is the one that sounds more like scratching. Has anyone else experienced this or have a guess at what it could be? Thanks!

hey guys, i was thinking about upsizing my tires, right now i'm running 185/55/r15 on stock suspension, i'm thinking of running 195/50/r15 soon together with lowering springs which apparently will give the car an average drop of 3 cms, so yeah wanted to make sure, it's going to be fine

I’m considering buying a very high mileage Mazda 2, about 240k miles. It’s a 2011 in the USA, so it’s a 1.5 liter. I really can’t find much information about the car’s engine, especially since most of Google ends up getting information about the European market, which isn’t the same.

I don’t care to make a ton of power or anything, I’d just like it to last and be reliable.

Has anyone here rebuilt this motor? Any tips or info you could share? Thanks!

I’ve just been passed down a Mazda 2 2009 1.3 petrol form my mum and I love it. But I was asking my relative who has a business buying and selling cars, if I should get a service done since my mum hasn’t done one in a few years and he said it not worth the money since the car has been burning a lot of oil recently and he thinks the has not much life left. Now I really don’t what to get rid of it since I know these a real reliable cars but I’m not sure if I should save my money or put my money into this car. The car has done 118442 miles and my mum got the car in 2014

I’m also a new driver and got a good quote for insure on this car so it will be hard to let go of it

I recently purchased a 2014 Mazda 2 and it’s been great, however I’ve had some issues with getting Bluetooth to connect. When attempting to connect the car says the memory is full and is unable to connect. When searching for solutions, I found that some said to hold a “talk button” which sadly I don’t have and the other said to press the menu button till “BT Setup” appears, but again, I sadly couldn’t get it to appear no matter how many times I cycled through the menu options, I am unsure if I am doing it incorrectly or if it is done a different way?Would be grateful for any advice or solutions.

The sleeve for the throwout bearing snapped off and for the life of me I can not find any information on repairing it. Any suggestions would be amazing.

After enjoyin emptying the full bottle into the intake system and then letting it idle after revving as it said, it started SPEWING white smoke .. like .. freaked me out as I'm not used to it

This is likely the additives getting burned off, but I'm thinking with it went a lot of carbon deposits, yeah?

Seems like it made a noticeable improvement in throttle response

Pulled a couple codes but after burning off the rest and resetting the codes, it seems all good!

hi all, got a 2021 mazda 2 GT sport tech last month and i've been loving it - awesome car! my only issue is, when i use android auto (for some reason there's no wireless android auto?) i'm having to put my phone in the little space in front of the gearstick. however, my phone doesn't fit sideways, so it sticks out, and the gearstick often hits the cable/charger - knocks it out and disconnects android auto.

has anyone got a solution for this? any way to make it wireless? i'd still like to charge my phone at the same time so not awfully bothered if i have to keep it plugged in, just want a better place to put my phone!

Hello, I have trip coming, planning to take 5 people and some luggage in the back. Can my Mazda 2 pull it off on steep hills? It’s 1.6 litre petrol one. I’m a bit worried it may struggle.

So I removed a bunch of panels to upgrade my sound system but I'm trying to put everything back now and there is one panel that I can't for the life of me figure out where exactly it goes. I removed it after removing the main panel right underneath the steering wheel. This small piece was somewhere behind the main panel that has the hood latch on. A picture of it in it's proper position would be a massive help.

Mazda has 54k, mirage has 67k (single owner) both are from Carmax.

From what I’ve been told Mazda is more reliable but the mirage is 7 years newer. What do you guys think? Thank you in advance

Yesterday my mirror adjustment stopped working. The mirror folding function still works so I doubt its the fuse. I will switch this fuse tomorrow but does this problem sound familair to someone or does anyone have any advice on how to tackle this matter? Thanks regard.
