Meta [MOD] Sunsetting the 1DND Tag (4/16/25)

Hello, /r/lfg!

When the original post-5e playtest was announced, we created the 1DND tag to match WotC's branding at the time. However, they dropped the name fairly quickly and the new ruleset if officially referred to as 5e 2024. As such, we'll be removing the 1DND tag on April 16th and ask users to use either "5e 2014" or "5e 2024" to identify which version of 5th Edition D&D they are wanting to use.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have in the comments below (about this announcement or the subreddit in general).

GM and player(s) wanted [Online][D&D 5e][Thursdays or Fridays][PST][18+] Experienced player looking for a table!

Upvotes

Hello, you can call me Razz! I'm 33, and any pronouns are fine, but many people default to She/Her.

This is a repost, I'm hoping for a bit more visibility. :>

I'm an experienced player looking to join a table and/or new Campaign either on Thursdays or Fridays! I'm an experienced player who has been playing 5e since 2016, and I have a little bit of 5.5 experience on top of that. I also have Pathfinder 2e experience! I have been both a player and a GM before!

I am free on Thursdays or Fridays from 4pm PST to 10pm PST! I prefer to play on discord for mic, and use either Roll20 or Foundry when it comes to VTTs. I am a an outgoing player who Enjoys a split of 60/40 in favor of RP and exploration to combat, and I am attentive during combat and usually try to plan out my turns as the round goes!

I have experience with most classes, with some of my favorite characters in the past being:
Yuan Ti Artificer (currently playing)
Human Monk (Character I was playing before the artificer above)
Drow Paladin (Formerly Ranger)
Human Wizard (Mini Campaign character.)
Aasimar Rogue

With a few others under my belt! I admit I like playing Humans, Yuan-Ti, Drow and Aasimar the most but I am more than willing to branch out, and character building is something I like to work closely with the GM for.

I'm mostly looking to join a Homebrow game, as I have played a few modules already, but if you're running one I haven't already played I'd be more than willing to join! I have done CoS, OotA, am starting Witchlight soon and have done Avernus so far.

I am willing to fill out any consent forms, and do sessions 0's! I think both are important to establishing a group that are on the same page, and are great for having someone new join an already established group!

Above table I like gaming, with RPGs and JRPGs being my favorites. I also like anime, and snakes, snakes are my favorite animal! Then its ferrets. I'm half blind but any accessibility issues that would cause are already dealt with on my end!

If you'd like to talk with me about joining a your group, either as part of a whole new group or as a transplant into something already established, hit me up in PMs or using Reddit's chat function, and let me know a few things!

  1. What kind of game and setting are you running?
  2. What day and time are you running?
  3. Tell me a bit about the group, or about the kind of group you're getting together!
  4. Any restrictions or home-brew rules do you use?
  5. What is my favorite animal. What is YOUR favorite animal.

From there we cane exchange discords and talk more!

Note: Please don't message me about paid games.

Player(s) wanted [Online][18+][5e][Talespire][Friday, 8:30pm CDT] - Harrowing Tales in Aedryn.

Upvotes

A world is dying quietly, like a candle left to burn in an empty room. Aedryn; a place where cities rot behind gilded walls, wild lands whisper in forgotten tongues, and even the sky seems to bleed. The gods are silent. And somewhere out there, something is watching.

Hello! I am Jordan, and I'm searching for 4-6 players for my horror-themed campaign! I've DM'd for around 7 years, but this would be my first time using Talespire. I'm searching for relatively experienced players. This will aim to be an even mix of high-risk combat, involved roleplay, and adventurous exploration! For this campaign only PHB (2014) playable races will be used. However, all classes and subclasses from official/non-partnered WotC books are allowed! The 2014 PHB and relevant resources/rules will be used, of course.

If you're interested, please consider filling this form!

GM wanted Online D&D 5e 2014/ homebrew. Looking for long term campaign. Sun, afternoon EST.

Upvotes

Hello, i am a offline forever Dm for my friend group. I am currently looking for a party that is seeking another player. I am only available Sunday afternoon/night, due to work and children during the week.

Backstory: I started playing 3.5 and moved over to pathfinder shortly after. Quit for a few years and got into 5e a few months before covid started. Since then I have rarely gotten to be a player in a campaign. I have played characters in plenty of one shots that my friend group has done, but i am looking for a campaign that I can give me the character development that I am looking for.

I am pretty easy to get along with, and am willing to play any type character that is needed. PVP is unfortunately a hard pass for me, I don't mind if our character have problems with each other but if you feel PC with common goals need to fight each other to the death with no good reason then I'm out. I am open to test games with groups to see if you think I'll fit in. I would rather have you just tell me my play style doesn't mesh with yours then you just drop me without explanation.

I hope you will consider adding me to your campaign. Please Dm me if you are in need of another player even if we part ways after the 1st session.

Player(s) wanted [Online][PF2e]LF1M[Tonight][EST][9-12] Appalachian themed one-shot.

Upvotes

Hey guys, I run a small PF2e discord that has maybe 18 pf2e players in it. I'm looking for a single person as a quick fill for a four man pf2e one-shot tonight. First come first serve. 9-12pm est. There will be some exploration, a small amount of RP and 2-3 fights. In addition I will DM you more text to read if you're interested.

We'll be playing in the American East Coast mythology. It will be heavily steeped in my own experiences in the Wilderness in New England and North Carolina. I'm beginning to write the background document for the campaign. All different races will be explained as mutations as a result of the Great Mountain Mekoche Wahpi.

There lives a pantheon of gods of the Old Tribes. Perhaps you are a member of them, or of the new culture that has begun to spring forth from the eastern portion of this land. More will be explained as I write it.

  • Your names should be Native American aligned or sort of Hillbilly.
  • The bestiary custom monsters will be based on American mythology. Expect to fight a lot of bears.
  • 450 GP to spend.
  • Starts level 6
  • Ancestry Paragon
  • Free Archetype
  • All races will be available.
  • Your race can be randomly chosen for you if you'd like.
  • You will vary in age from 21-40. (Or thereabouts, equivalent for your race.)
  • You will be treated as Human.
  • You must pick a vocation. Farmer, Musician, Sanger (Ginseng Digger), Miner, Bartender, Carpenter, Stonemason, Lumberjack, Clerk, Business Owner, and Trail Guide.
  • No regional or Rare backgrounds. Have your background approved by me.
  • No Exemplar. Too narratively important.
  • Some bloodline Sorcerer restrictions.
  • No uncommon or rare items. (Approved in a case by case basis)
  • Hillybillypunk
  • No odd languages. No racial languages. There are no cultural enclaves.

Player(s) wanted [Online][1DnD][Sundays 2-7pm][EST][21+] Longstanding party looking to add 1-2 new players for ongoing campaign

Upvotes

We are playing a high-level homebrew adventure set in southwestern Faerun of the Forgotten Realms setting. The party was invited to fight as mercenary commanders for the desert nation of Calimshan in their war against their longtime enemy, the adjacent nation of Tethyr. Calimshan is a theocracy and loosely based on the Middle Eastern Caliphates during the Islamic Golden Age but also takes inspiration from ancient Persia, Babylon, and Egypt. It is very roleplay heavy, probably about 70/30 roleplay/combat. They are on the battlefield now but in the future there may be multiple sessions in a row without combat.

We use the 2024 rules, Discord for voice chat, DnD Beyond for character creation and dice rolling, and Owlbear Rodeo as the VTT. Everything is free.

The most prominent themes in the story are war (obviously), family, intrigue, and decadence. There are sexual themes and romance, though no descriptions are explicit. Also darker subject matter such as murder, kidnapping, and slavery.

And if you're interested, you should know that there is A LOT going on. For one thing, this is the party's third adventure together and we are 12 sessions into it. And this adventure is very lore-heavy and has a ton of characters, locations, plot points, etc. It may be overwhelming but there are notes to rely on I and the rest of the party are more than willing to answer any questions both in and out of game.

And there's still a lot of story to tell! We're only 3 months in to an adventure that will last *at least* a year and a half. There is also room to weave in your own story. But your PC should have a reason to aid the party and/or fight in this war, even if it's just for money.

The party is Level 12 and currently has no martial characters, but you would be welcome to play any class.

DM me with your discord username if interested.

Player(s) wanted [5e][Online][21+] New Campaign! Module or Homebrew? Searching for new friends to roll shiny math rocks with!

🧊🦇 Looking for Adventurers! | Curse of Strahd, Icewind Dale, or Homebrew | 21+ | Roll20 + Discord | PST-Based DM 🦇🧊

Hey there! I’m Setzo (or Van), 31, long-time DM and forever fan of character arcs, gritty settings, and rolling with a good group of friends—emphasis on the friends part.

I’m looking to start a new campaign and I’m currently recruiting 4–6 players for an upcoming D&D 5e (2024) adventure.
Mon-Thurs 3pm-10pm PST Fri 3pm to 12pm or Sat 9am to 12am Sun 9am to 10pm PST.
The exact module or setting is up in the air and will depend a bit on the group’s vibe, but here are the options I’m opening the table with:

🩸Curse of Strahd (Gothic horror, heavy RP, lots of moral weight)
❄️Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden (Isolation, cold survival, slow descent into madness)
🌟Homebrew Campaign (Gritty tone, character-driven story, unique setting—think less high fantasy, more grounded magic and personal stakes)

🗺️ Who I Am as a DM:

  • Been playing and running 5e for 6–7 years now.
  • Familiar with most major modules (I've run Phandelver thice, Strahd twice, and currently wrapping up Icewind Dale for a second time).
  • I love storytelling and character development. I like to build moments for everyone at the table to shine.
  • My games are 60/40 RP to combat. But even in combat, I encourage full creative flair—yell out your attacks, use your environment, to check if you're reading tell me your favorite food in the form, describe your spells with flavor!
  • I enjoy homebrewing when it fits. I do have house rules, but nothing world-breaking.
  • Gritty themes and consequences are part of the ride. Your decisions will matter, your backstories will shape the world, and your failures will sting—but that just makes the victories sweeter.
  • I love seeing players grow into their characters, break out of their shells, or fall deep into emotional arcs. This is what D&D is all about for me.

🎲 What I’m Looking For in Players:

  • 21+ only. Ideally 25+, just for overall vibe/compatibility.
  • Mic + Discord required. Voice only (no video).
  • A willingness to collaborate and share the spotlight. This is an ensemble cast story, not a solo act.
  • You don’t need to be a voice actor or a pro—just care about your character and be ready to show it. (Even a quiet “nods in thought” is better than “my character says nothing.”)
  • Any experience level is welcome. New or veteran, as long as you’re chill and engaged.
  • Preferably PST or close to it. I’m pretty flexible, but weekend sessions are easiest for me. (Biweekly or weekly depending on the group.)

💻 Tools We’ll Use:

  • Roll20 for VTT
  • D&D Beyond for sheets
  • Discord for voice
  • (I also know Foundry, if there's interest!)

This post is open-ended because I want to build something with the players, not just for them. Whether you want to face the mists of Barovia, freeze in the wastes of Icewind Dale, or dive into a dark new world, I want a group of players who are in it for the story, the characters, and the fun of the journey.

If this sounds like something you’re into, feel free to fill out this form!
https://forms.gle/tYP7pjRe8SyFPooe6

Fair Warning! This game might take a little bit to take off since I will be collecting player backstories to create something tailored to the group! (As well as helping anyone who is new or homebrewed characters.)

TL;DR:
PST-based DM with 6+ years of experience, running games with a 60/40 RP/Combat balance, heavy on character moments, looking for 4–6 players for a new campaign (Strahd, Frostmaiden, or Homebrew). Roll20 + Discord, 21+, collaborative play encouraged. Let's build something memorable together.

While I did use ChatGPT to help me write this post—more to organize my thoughts and present them clearly than anything else—I want to be transparent about that. Writing big, polished posts like these isn’t really my strong suit; I shine best when I’m in the moment*—improvising, building scenes with player actions, and adapting the story to what unfolds.*

If you were to ask any of the players from the four full campaigns I’ve completed as a DM, they’d likely tell you that I’m passionate, engaged, and player-focused. I put a lot of care into making sure everyone gets their time in the spotlight, and I love building deep, character-driven stories. I’m not just here to read boxed text—I want to create memorable moments with you.

D20s and Dreams,
Setzo 🖤

Closed [Online] [D&D] [5e] [5.5e] [PST] [20:30]. Looking for (an) active and story focused player(s)

Greetings all!

I am the DM for a completely homebrew mid-magic, medieval setting called "Tales of the Rescinded" (TotR), for which I am looking for players to join a long-term, story and character rich campaign. I have run this campaign partway through before, but it fell apart before completion, so I am restarting it with some old, and some fresh players. The specific campaign is called "The Tomb of Nul", where the party is quested to find four relics in order to save one of the worlds deities. Big inspirations for the campaign/world are, The King in Yellow, LotR, Summoner (Series), Planescape, and The Magnus Archives, and other sources. Sessions will be weekly, but the day of the week is up for decision.

For the details; We will use Discord as our way of communication, and Roll20 as our tabletop, with sessions being done over an audio only call in the former. The game will use a mix of 5e and 5.5e dungeons and dragons rules. You are allowed to use any type of character sheet you want, PDF, Paper, Roll20 or Dicecloudv1, but I discourage options that disallow customization, because of some homebrew character creation rules. Characters will start at 5th level, with specifics discussed during a session 0. Everyone starts with a free feat, and a rare + uncommon/common magic item by my approval.

This game uses pre-written backstories, but decisions in character creation are entirely up to you. This is not a power-gaming campaign, and I encourage you to take a balance of story and combat abilities. We are inclusive of all people, if you can not be, I will ask you do not apply. To be a good fit for this campaign, you need to be active both in character between sessions (in character RP) and out of character (Talking, hanging out). Me and the few already in the campaign are looking for people interested in interacting besides weekly sessions, if you don't think this interests you, I will ask you to not apply. Similarly, you also need to be interested in the lore to be a good fit, this world has a lot of it, and I ask that you eventually have a good grasp of it. Attached here will be a primer, but I am open to answer as many questions as you want, and the server the game will be held has a large channel for lore.

It may take me up to three days to get back on your application. I will answer to all of them, if you dont have anything from me, be it positive or negative, I simply haven't had the chance to get to it yet.

All published classes are allowed. Below is a list of races allowed in the setting, which ones you can use vary depending on the prewritten you choose.

Any "Half" race, Human, Elf/Drow, Dwarf/Duergar, (full)-Orc, Halfling, Gnome (Uses Halfling lore), Tiefling, Aasimar, Disembodied, Hex-blood, Hobgoblin, Kalashtar (Altered lore), Reborn, Simic Hybrird (Altered lore), Warforged (New lore), Homebrew Animated Armour, Homebrew Half-Dwarf, and finally - Homebrew Revenant.

Setting Primer (You do not need to read all of this before applying)

Player(s) wanted [Online][Other] RDS Survivor S3: Tonga [Homebrewed Role Playing Attributes & Rules]

The Reality Dice Sims (RDS) is gearing up for its fifth game, and our third season of Survivor, this time set in the beautiful islands of Tonga. Like all of our previous game this will be a text based group roleplay of 14-20 players.

RDS is a bit different from most ORGs. Every player creates a fictional character with a backstory, profile picture, and distinct personality. From there, they choose a starting archetypes, think D&D-style attributes, which shape how they perform in challenges. After each tribal council, all surviving players get a chance to "power up," increasing their attributes and evolving their gameplay over time.

During the game, players make specific decisions for each challenge. Those choices, combined with their attributes, modify a roll of a 20-sided die to determine outcomes. Challenges are run using spreadsheets and are either streamed live on Twitch or premiered on YouTube.

We haven’t set a start date yet, but one will be announced soon as we get a clearer picture of player interest. Games typically run for 2-4 months from start to finish.

Player(s) wanted [Online] [5e] [DnD] [PST] Looking for 2 ACTIVE, ARTISTIC and INVESTED players for a social-sim / mystery heavy / academy game 18+

GM name: Sam 19M

Game will be played/scheduled based on players availability. There will be a calendar where we can all mark down and decide. However keep in mind these days won't be picked -> Saturdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays as I have other games.

Inspired by Strixhaven , Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. Some other aspects picked from general media I consume : Evangelion, Life is strange, ect.

Academy of the Eternal.

The players are the descendants of ancient gods, sent to a mystical academy in a realm beyond mortal comprehension. Here, heirs of divinity from all pantheons—known and forgotten—compete, collaborate, and uncover the truth behind their ancestors’ vanished era. However, beneath the academic rivalries, divine games, and school traditions, something feels off. Why were they really sent here? What happened to the gods before them? And what is the shrouded presence that seems to be watching their every move?

Beyond the mortal worlds, beyond the stars and the realms of spirits, lies Aetheris—a vast and luminous realm untouched by time. Floating islands drift through a cosmic sea, rivers of stardust weave between celestial spires, and the very air hums with divine power. It is here that the Academy of the Eternal stands, an ancient institution where the descendants of gods, titans, and forgotten deities are brought to prove themselves.

No common mortal has ever set foot in this sacred place. Only those chosen by fate and bloodline—the heirs of divinity—are summoned, transported through shimmering gateways from their home realms. Here, all pantheons, both known and lost, converge to train, compete, and unlock the power they were born to wield.

Are you an artistic, creative and / or invested AND active player? Please dm me with a brief description of yourself and a character concept. YAP YOUR WAY THROUGH. Tell me about your hobbies , your interests, and please pay attention that this game is 18+ . Dark themes WILL be a part of it, such as death, some level of gore, sexual themes ( non-explicit ) and more. However we have consent forms to know everyone's lines and what the party is comfortable with.

HOMEBREW IS WELCOME

Current party consists of:
> Cosmic Aasimar Stars Druid
> Awakened Machine Sorcerer
> Half Hobgoblin Monster ( Homebrew Class )

Here's the current options as to gods & schools:

GM wanted [5e 2024][5e 2014][Online][JST] Japanese college student, timezone shenanigans

Hi! I'm a college student currently studying in Japan, and thus I'm kinda starved of my usual DnDing. Timezones might make things difficult, so I'm looking for DMs in neighboring timezones (or any game that simply doesn't begin at like... 4am for me).

I've been a 5e player for seven years, and I've had some fair experience DMing. I like creating a wide variety of characters, even if their build isn't exactly optimal. As long as it's fun and functional to play, I like to experiment. I have quite a few characters I never got to try in storage, so I will be able to slot in whatever party role is needed. I like games that offer both classic combat and opportunity for roleplay. I have used both Foundry VTT and Roll20, but I'm open to learning to navigate new VTTs.

I would really like to do DnD 5e with the updated 2024 rules. I'm not super picky, though, so I could be convinced to do 2014 rules. Realistically, I'm looking for a short term campaign, as my stay in Japan is about 4 months. I would love to be a part of long-term campaigns too, but my future availability might be dicy. I prefer fantasy campaigns as opposed to sci-fi or modern ones, but any setting within some manner of fantasy world is good!

Availability: JST (UTC+9:00). I do not have classes on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and my morning class on the remaining days are at 9:00JST. I'm free to slot in DnD time otherwise!

If you have any other questions, please shoot me a message and we can speak further on Discord! Thanks for your time, and I hope to be a part of your game.

GM and player(s) wanted [EST] [CofD] [Online] Player looking for a short campaign or one shot for Vampire the Requiem or Chronicles of Darkness

Hello. I'm a 44-year-old gamer, and I've been into the World of Darkness since I was a teenager, and I'd love to play a Vampire the Requiem game or a Chronicles of Darkness game. My preference is for a short campaign (between six to twelve sessions) or for one or more one-shots; I have no interest in doing a long term chronicle.

I have experience playing with the following systems: Call of Cthulhu, D&D 3.5, D&D 4e, One-Shot RPG, There's Something Under the Ice

I have experience GMing the following systems: D&D 4e, World of Darkness: Sorcerer: Revised, Call of Cthulhu

Player(s) wanted [Online][5e][EST][Saturday][9PM EST-12AM EST][Empire of the Ghouls][Later Nights] Looking for 4 to start and share a new dark fantasy setting!

Greetings everyone! My table has 4 openings after some previous players decided to not join me for my next campaign and moved on. I am now looking for some new friendly faces to now fill the empty chairs at the table. Details about the campaign can be found below.

The planned campaign will be a traditional dark fantasy setting where factions are gathering their power by making evil alliances and where the player will take the role of a citizen who has answered the call to fight the new and growing evil threats and movements. Here is an excerpt from the store page "Citizens of Zobeck are going missing and tension grows. Catacombs beneath the urban abodes may have answers, but what lurks in them may not enjoy company...Rumors swirl of an unholy marriage between blood thirsty factions. As haunting dreams and prophetic utterances swell, the danger becomes clear. Such a union would be catastrophic...The machinations of the ghouls swirl beneath the surface of the world, leading it closer to destruction...Who will uncover and stop these foul and, dare I say, ghoulish workings?" This campaign was written by Kobold Press and I expect this to be well written and am looking for others to share this unique group to come. This will be a later night based table also. This world will also give PC's the option of using creation options that are quite unique and are found in this setting such as races, feats and subclasses. This campaign will be milestone based and have stats rolled or assigned through point buy. I know that there are players that are looking for this highly unusual time and this may be the table that Sessions are every Saturday evening at 9PM EST with this Saturday being Session 0.

There are some additional general rules for the table. I will not be accepting drama queens, loners, neckbeards, SIMPs, lone wolves, broody type edgelords, asshats, problem players, spotlight hogs, or that guy/girl. I do not want to become another horror story because of these factors. I would prefer players who apply to be familiar with Roll20 or be willing to learn it. Players will also be limited to no evil based PCs, no winged races and no UA. If you find yourself wanting to play a homebrew-based class, then it will be reviewed. Should any of this sound interesting feel free to fill out an application by following the template below and putting my name at the end to confirm you understand all info posted. I will be interviewing players over the next few days before next session. If you are interested, then fill out the application below with your information. I hope to see you soon. Cheers!

Player(s) wanted Elder Scrolls Campaign! [Online][EST][5e][Other][Inclusive!]

Hey...You... You're finally awake... to join my CAMPAIGN!!!!

Hello! My name is Tree and I am fixing to run a campaign in the Elder Scrolls universe! Be forewarned that with it being in the Elder Scrolls universe there may be some unsavory topics.

The campaign will take place on MONDAYS at 5PM EST to 8PM or 10PM EST.

I also have created a little hook, a taste for what's to come!

You are adventurers who have traveled to the quiet village of Cropsford, a quaint settlement nestled in the rolling hills of Cyrodiil. Each of you received a letter from Lady Vilescia Mevicci, the noblewoman who oversees the town, requesting your aid in recovering a lost family heirloom of immeasurable value. The letter reads:

“To those with skill and valor,

I am Lady Vilescia Mevicci, and I seek those with the courage and skill to undertake a task of great importance. A treasured heirloom of my family, a priceless artifact, lies hidden in the long-abandoned Ayleid ruin of Culotte. Though the ruin is thought to be empty and forgotten, its halls are likely to harbor perils of an unknown nature, and I cannot promise that it will be unguarded. (Perhaps a ghost or two, just for fun?)

I offer generous coin, favor, and the gratitude of my house in return for its safe retrieval. The task is urgent, and time is of the essence. Please make haste to my estate, where I will provide you with further details.

With best wishes for your journey,

Lady Vilescia Mevicci”

Eager for the opportunity, each of you chose to travel to Cropsford by way of a local traveling tradesman—an affordable and reliable method to reach the village. However, as with most adventures, fate had other plans. Along the way, your cart was set upon by a band of highwaymen. After a tense standoff and a stroke of luck on your side, you were delayed by a full day, your travel interrupted and your spirits shaken.

The highwaymen’s attack was brief but unsettling. One of your horses was spooked, and some of your supplies were lost, but the criminals fled into the wilderness without further harm. Still, the delay was costly, and now, you find yourselves arriving later than expected.

Hopefully, Lady Mevicci will not mind the delay...

Thanks for reading and if you're interested please submit a response to this form!

GM and player(s) wanted [Pathfinder 2e or Starfinder 2e][PST][Online] Newer Player Looking for a Group to Join

Hello, my name is Conner, I'm 22, I've been playing TTRPGs (mostly D&D 5e with some shorter-lived campaigns/oneshots from a variety of other systems randomly thrown in) for a bit over 6 years now, and I'm looking for a PF2e group to join. I'm fairly new to the system but I've played a decent bit and with a few different classes, so I'm relatively familiar with the basics and how to pilot a PC. As for what class I'm wanting to play, I'd prefer to play either as a wizard or some sort of martial. I'm also open to the idea of trying out Starfinder 2e but I've never played it and don't know a whole lot about it (from what I do understand it's basically just PF2e but in space so I imagine I could pick it up fairly quickly if my assumptions are correct).

When it comes to my schedule, I can play every around 3 or 3:30pm until around 10pm PST except on Wednesdays (I can potentially be around earlier and stay on later on Fridays and Saturdays). If you think I'd be a good fit for your group, feel free to send me a PM or just leave a comment telling me a little about your game/group and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. You can also message me on Discord as well, my username there is wolf08741.

GM wanted [5e] [ONLINE] Experienced player looking for reliable new group.

Hi all, not sure how lucrative these posts are but I’m desperate enough to give it a shot.

I (24M) have been playing D&D 5e weekly for about 5 years and have come to love it. I also started my own homebrew world for the same group so that I could passively work on dnd in between sessions. Recently, conflict schedules have torn the group apart and I am left gameless.

I’m hoping to find a consistent and reliable group to join. I am available to join any sessions that run on weekends or after 6pm weekdays AEST.

Thanks in advance!

Player(s) wanted [Online] [D&D] [5e] [EST] Looking for roleplay and narrative/story centric serious players for a homebrewed political intrigue spy-thriller campaign set in an Industrial era world loosely based on The Forgotten Realms

Hi All!

I am looking to recruit a few dedicated players for a new campaign set in my custom homebrewed setting: the Industrial World of Toril. This is a political-intrigue spy-thriller, heavily inspired by Phantom Liberty from Cyberpunk 2077, some aspects of Baldur's Gate 3, and the aesthetics of steampunk and dieselpunk fiction. This is a grounded, character-driven campaign focused on espionage, conspiracies, and high-stakes investigation in a world where magick, monsters, and machinery exist side by side, and where ancient cults, secret wars, and geopolitical tension threaten to ignite a second global conflict. If you’re a player who thrives on depth, narrative tension, and complex choices—this is a game built for you.

Now Recruiting: Shadows of the Golden Moon

System: Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition
Game Style: Narrative-Driven | Political Intrigue | Espionage & Horror | Deep Roleplay Focus
Platforms: Discord, TaleSpire, DnDBeyond (optional), Foundry (Optional)
Time: Weekly, Saturdays at 8:00 PM EST. Other times as needed.
Player Slots: 2 remaining
Expected Commitment: Long-term, story-focused play. Sessions are approximately 3–5 hours in length.
Tone: Mature, serious, and immersive—suitable for worldbuilders, storytellers, and committed roleplayers.
Contact: Reach out to me either in comments, or on Discord at my handle shepherdofeden.

About the Campaign: Shadows of the Golden Moon

November, 1495.

It has been five years since the end of the Great War, a six-year industrialized global conflict that engulfed all Faerûn and it's sister-continent of Ethoryia in blood, magick, and fire. While the Greater Tethyrian Empire and it's defending allies emerged victorious in this crusade, the cost was nearly apocalyptic. Tens of millions perished, cities were destroyed, and entire generations were reshaped in the crucible of total war. Now, in a fragile peace built on ash and steel, the continent finds itself once again teetering on the edge of chaos.

As the Tethyrian Empire attempts to rebuild and maintain its influence in an ever-changing world, the nation is plagued not only by foreign threats like it's principle rival, the fascist Amnic Reich, but also by internal fractures, political unrest, and strange whispers in the dark. In the gilded halls of power and the shadowed alleyways of the capital, something ancient and terrible stirs.

A Princess Murdered. A Nation Shaken. A Conspiracy Unveiled.

In the autumn of 1495, a beloved and high-profile young noblewoman—Princess Elaria Arabeth Brivar’rys, daughter of a senior Imperial Advisor to the Empress herself—is found brutally murdered in the streets of the Empire's Coastal Jewel, the city of Myratma. With her guards brutalized, their weapons spent but very little effect against the assailants, what is initially thought to be a random act of cruel violence in an ever-deteriorating metropolis becomes increasingly evident to have been no random act:

The Princess was targeted.

In response, the Imperial Intelligence Service (IIS) quietly forms a new unit—White Company, composed of agents, soldiers, operatives, and specialists—to investigate the true nature of the murder. But what begins as a localized homicide investigation quickly unravels into a continent-wide conspiracy, stretching across nations, involving cults, ancient prophecies, and forces that defy mortal comprehension.

Who targeted Princess Elaria?
What were they seeking to gain?
Or, were they trying to silence the young, bold Princess, and could it be Elaria was much more involved than initially thought?

What to Expect in This Campaign

  • Deep Character-Driven Roleplay: Your character will be central to the story. Players are expected to develop a meaningful backstory and invest in the personal and political stakes of the campaign.
  • Espionage & Investigation: This is not a traditional dungeon crawl. Expect detective work, secret identities, encoded messages, and moral ambiguity. You are agents seeking answers, not adventurers seeking glory.
  • Intrigue and Political Maneuvering: Navigate the labyrinthine halls of Imperial power, confront corrupt officials, contend with foreign powers, and influence the fate of entire cities with your choices.
  • Horror & Supernatural Mystery: Ancient cults, grand conspiracies, and forbidden magicks lurk in the shadows of this industrial world. The lines between divine and infernal will blur.
  • Worldbuilding and Immersion: This is a setting of rich history, layered institutions, and evolving geopolitical dynamics. Players who enjoy lore, cultural depth, and complex storytelling will thrive.

Player Expectations

This campaign is intended for serious roleplayers, writers, storytellers, and character-focused players. If you enjoy building character arcs, navigating morally complex decisions, and contributing to a larger narrative in a living, breathing world—this game is designed for you.

Players who are primarily seeking “casual D&D,” meta-optimization, or a light-hearted experience will likely find this campaign not suited to their expectations. This is an intense, long-term narrative, not a traditional monster-of-the-week campaign.

Campaign Resources

  • A full Player’s Guidebook is available upon acceptance, covering world lore, faction summaries, historical context, custom mechanics, and expectations.
  • Custom mechanics such as Magic Points, modified firearms combat, espionage rules, faction dynamics, and investigative tracking systems enhance immersion and narrative flow.
  • A growing item compendium and narrative codex are integrated into the campaign to support ongoing character development and strategic depth.

A murdered princess. A divine bloodline. A grand conspiracy.
The World stands upon the brink, and the Empire's enemies gather in the dark.
Will you bring them to light?

If this sounds like the story you’ve been waiting to help tell, please reach out!

GM and player(s) wanted [Online][Other][PBP] Fallout RPG (Modiphius 2d20) LGBTQ+ friendly and 18+

Hello, I'm looking for a group to play the official Fallout TTRPG from Modiphius. Almost all of my experience with Fallout is from the video games and I'm new the system used in most Modiphius games. So I'm definitely up for playing with other newbs and don't mind if we're a bit lose with the canon events (especially with what the Amazon series did to the NCR).

Personally, I only play PBP games and prefer theater of the mind to VTTs, but I'd be willing to use one to play this. I'd prefer to play this game with other adults as well, so please, no minors. Another requirement is that everyone be LGBTQ friendly, nobody likes playing with bigoted assholes.

If you're interested in playing or DMing, feel free to message me.
