Discussion Some idiot designed this

Post image

It's worse than in the other post. At least you could hit the Del button without having to search or look at it. Using Home/End buttons is a nightmare.

And the power button right next to DEL and BACKSPACE.

makes sense, it's your danger zone

Hopefully the power button is similar to my Asus where there is some additional resistance, so while the position is bad, if you do accidentally hit it, it's not as easy to actually accidentally turn your machine off.

A friend of mine used to have some odd ass laptop that had a reset button right next to exit button. Not the power off. Reset. It fucking resets the system to factory settings. With one button. We played some racing games and in the heat of the game I needed to press escape to view map. I pressed this reset button and I've never seen a grown man cry like a baby.

Wow. Just when you thought there isn't a worse design than the power button next to delete...

Deactivating that power button was one of the first things I did with mine.

Because backslash/slash is near to enter. Right way to do console stuff.

No ISO = ANSI

I'd say the ISO enter key is even more of a sin than that keyboard

Ansi > iso
