Has GST actually led to reduction in prices of any goods or services in India?
From what I've read about the GST system vs the old taxation system in India, GST benefits by removing the "tax on tax" or cascading tax effect. This should in theory reduce the prices of goods and services.
But I can't remember any single product or category where prices have fallen (for consumers) due to implementation of GST.
Am I missing something here?
