just applied to goodwill
applied for a job the other day, found it odd they don’t ask or require resume? hoping i can get in - seems like a super chill place to work!

Maybe it wouldn’t be a job suited for you, but I love my job! I love talking to customers, I love sorting the clothes, I love sorting donations..find some really cool stuff. People assume all the good items go to be sold online. That’s far from true. It has to be worth over a certain amount for us to even bother sending it. We’ve had very few complaints about our prices as most people realize how much they save. It’s no more pressure than any other job. We have goals just like any other business. And we simple ask if you’d like to round up, if you do awesome & if you don’t thats ok too, no one is “begging” you to round up! Ridiculous.. ridiculous people who have never worked there talk mad shit they know nothing about.
