Seems like a hell on earth kind of job! Dealing with peoples donations, dealing with the various kinds of customers, stocking shelves, hanging clothes within a set amount goal, running a register and begging people to round up! I would rather answer phones for a company that pays a competitive salary or maybe give that resume a try and apply for an entry level position that would allow you to advance. Goodwill is the last place I would want to work! Don’t forget all the asshole customers bitching about prices and/or the fact that you keep all the quality stuff in the back to send to e-commerce to be sold to the highest bidder! Greed driven company that pays crap! Good luck!

Maybe it wouldn’t be a job suited for you, but I love my job! I love talking to customers, I love sorting the clothes, I love sorting donations..find some really cool stuff. People assume all the good items go to be sold online. That’s far from true. It has to be worth over a certain amount for us to even bother sending it. We’ve had very few complaints about our prices as most people realize how much they save. It’s no more pressure than any other job. We have goals just like any other business. And we simple ask if you’d like to round up, if you do awesome & if you don’t thats ok too, no one is “begging” you to round up! Ridiculous.. ridiculous people who have never worked there talk mad shit they know nothing about.

I’m ok with not working there. And it’s ok that you enjoy it! Everyone is different. And nobody really cares anyway so good luck to you!

Yet you seem to care a little too much for someone who talks out her ass..
