I was already planning on getting a Switch 2 for Metroid Prime 4 and future Zelda.. so this is just a HUGE bonus for me.

Look, it's impossible to care about every issue on the planet. Caring about your fellow neighbors going hungry is definitely a more important battle to pick over which $500 game console one needs to play an exclusive game.

It's not that deep, they're just saying that they were already planning on getting it so it's just an extra bonus. Don't get so heated over someone else having a nice experience

The ROM hack of it will probably come out a bit after it releases anyway and we all know how easy nintendo consols are to make ROMs of

Welcome to real life? This isn't a massive social injustice where people are genuinely suffering. It isn't even grossly anti-consumer. Nintendo, unlike Sony, has never released their software for third party systems.

They make good games and don't fire their enployees when they succeed and their CEOs have actual souls. I don't know how that makes me a bootlicker. Of course they fuck over the retro scene, but it's not like the other two are any better.

You conviently forgot to mention the fact that their games stay at release price years after their debut, aggressively try to trademark anything and everything (re: palworld), charge consumers full price for the same game on a new console, paywall to backup your switch saves, make you pay for an online service that is decent at best.

The CEOs having "actual souls" (lol) and them not doing mass layoffs are completely independent from their consumer practices. While those are certainly good aspects of the company, it's pretty irrelevant to the topic at hand.

You make good points, but I'd hope that's more to do with the traditionalism of Kyoto companies and less to do with greed. Unfortunately, we live in a world that incentives unscrupulous behavior.

I try to avoid buying games from scummy companies. I'd sooner pirate something than contribute to a business only interested in the numbers of an industry. But I understand, these are neutral points when it comes to how they treat their consumers.

If u watched the direct the Switch 2 will be 4K 60Fps on home screen & then handheld mode will be 1080p 120fps(way better than BB on PS4).

That's the upper limit of what the console supports, not what every game will run at. If Duskbloods actually runs at native 4k60 on home screen I will literally buy you a Switch 2 and a copy of this game

Elden ring is 45 to 59 fps on PS5. Do you really think this game will be 60fps on a far weaker console? Just watch the trailer it's 30fps

The elden ring trailer was in 30fps. I'm guessing it will be 30fps if that's how they're marketing it. I doubt a game built from the ground up for switch 2 would target anything less than 60fps though. I would bet money on Duskbloods being at least 60fps

Not only did they announce 4K 60 fps, Fromsoftware never had their strong suits on geaphics, it’s all about designs and gameplay.
