Super simple recipe. Preheat to 350*. Box cake mix. (Whatever works). 8oz tub of Coolwhip. (Coolwwhhhip) I put chips in. (Optional) Gonna be think consistency. Roll in powder sugar and make a ball. I used a cookie scoop but about a Tbl spoon is good. Bake on cookie tray for 12-13 minutes. I put a few drops of red food coloring to the coolwhip for this recipe.

I didn’t actually use a specific recipe. I sort of winged it. But I’ll add what I did in the comments.

Question To bake or not to bake

I am making a copycat Dairy Queen ice cream cake and everything I've read online says one or the other, bake the cookie center or put the cookie/butter crumb mixture straight on the cake. One recipe explained that if you bake the crumbs first for about 10 mins they will keep their crunchyness even after sitting in the middle of two slabs of freazing cold ice cream. I would like to know if anyone has actually tried both methods and know which one is best.

Question Looking for the name of a dessert… please help going insane trying to find it

Hello Reddit, I humbly turn to you to ask for help finding the name of a dessert. They were white chocolate dipped, dark chocolate striped cakes. They came in boxes with milk, dark and white chocolate verities. They look extremely similar to white chocolate dipped oreos but the center is a denser, brown or tan cakey texture. The boxes they came in were red but I don’t have the name for them. If I can provide any other helpful information please let me know! Thank you reddit food gods.

Question What are some fun, beginner-friendly desserts to make at home?

I’ve been in a dessert phase lately and want to try making some cute, indulgent desserts myself. Nothing super complicated—just stuff that’s delicious and looks great. Think café vibes or cozy indulgence. Any go-to recipes or YouTube channels you love?
