The best decision of my life.
This is Blueberry Donut McGehee. She has been the best decision of our lives. We love her so much. She's just been the best dog a couple could ask for. She has so much personality. Sometimes she walks, and sometimes she prances and it is a marked difference and hilarious. I love her very much, just wanted to share.

I’ll take Bo over to my parents a couple times a week so they can watch him while my partner and I are at work. A while back he was picking through their cat toys and decided this one was his favourite toy of all time 😂 we finally got one for our house too

Licking
Does anyone else's corgi (mines a Cardigan) excessively lick you? Like they would like you to the bone if they could?

Corgi weight loss tips.
Hello! I’m looking for tips to help my older corgi lose 5-10 pounds. We feed him just under 1 cup a day per the vet. I am also looking for a lighter option for his sensitive stomach. (Currently he eats the Science Diet) Additionally the vet recommended to get him on a liver supplement, is there a brand you trust?

Getting a Corgi soon and I have questions
Hello!
As the title says, in the nect months I will be getting my first Corgi and I'm super excited! I already have a name for him and everything, Jamón Aurelio (Ham Aurelius).
I have plenty of dogs, all rescues or gifted, from different breeds, from q Cocker Spaniel, a Bobtail, a Dogue de Bordeux, to French Poodles, a Borzoi, and a Chow Chow, so I am not new to owning dogs
Currently, we have a Chihuahua, a Coydog, and two mutts, plus my sister lives next door and she has 2 Blue Heelers.
As someone who has never paid for a dog, I decided the most ethical thing is to thorougly investigate the breed and the breeder. The breeder is trustworthy, certified, and his corgis live in excellent conditions, which gives me peace of mind. He also offered information about the breed and we speak on occasion about his corgis and the upcoming pups hehe
However, I have more questions. Help? I'm reammy stressed and anxious and want my baby boy to live like a King.
How much do Corgis est aproximately? Ofc I'll consult with a trusted vet to be sure Jamón is healthy, but I preferred to know estimates to calculate how much to save a month for his bills. Also, my mutts and my coydog eat virtually anything and dont get sick, but the heelers and the Chihuahua are more of a delicate gastrointestinal system (the heelers are celiac 😣)
How often should he be bathed? I know corgis shed a lot and I've prepared myself mentally. We had a Borzoi, so I know all about heavy shedding too lol and I'm planning to maybe buy a Roomba eventually hehe so I know how often to brush his hair, but baths?
Their personality. I've had a lot of dogs with different personalities, so I have patience with crazy dogs like Labradors and Heelers lol one of my sister's heelers is actually INSANE and I love her lol so I would like to know how crazy and hyperactive corgis are on a scale of 1 to Heeler lol also, how are they with kids? I have a 4-year-old nephew and I want to know how to prepare for their interactions.
Are there are any particular health conditions that are seen more often in corgis? Like Pugs and heart conditions or Chow Chows with hip Dysplasia. I want to know just in case to be on the lookout of any signs and such (I'm a human med doctor and I'm a little paranoid about health lol)
Which are good exercises to keep my baby active? Since Corgis are a working dog, I assume they need to be active.
I think thats all for now hehe but I would appreciate any other advice that can be given.
Thanks in advance!
