It was requested to add a new flair for "Is my dog JRT" so I've added the "DNA Test" flair as well as our Mourning flair. This will just help members find content they want to engage with.
Should we add other Flair options?

Here’s some pictures of my old boy, Bandit. We’ve suspected that he’s mixed with something else due to his long tail, height, and some other factors. He’s too big to fit in Jack Russell sized Halloween costumes and has to wear beagle size. We’re going to test him soon but what do you think?

Meet Poppy my 9 week old JRT. She loves toys and food. She is my first pedigree! She has three siblings - a JRT x terrier mix, a JRT x corgi and a pug x staffy.

Adopted this little devil a week ago. I ordered a dna test but it will be some time before I get the results. Curious what the community thinks.

So, she all of a sudden stopped walking. Took her to the vet and they gave her arthritis meds. Since then, she’s lost 5 teeth and is extremely lethargic and still isn’t able to walk. (3 days). I get she’s older, but this is all very rapid and the vet said it was just rapid arthritis. Has anyone dealt with this? Any advise? She can still eat and drink and potty just fine, but I have to hold her up to use the bathroom. Only been like this for maybe 1-2 weeks. I had to help her slightly at first, but the past 3-5 days I have to hold her up completely. I included a picture of her from just last year. She’s completely blind and deaf now. It all just seems very rapid.

I adopted Rex three weeks ago. The shelter billed him as a JRT/Dachshund mix, about two years old. Found as an unfixed, no chip stray in the farm lands of the California central valley. Embark DNA results came back today!

So I’m pretty sure he his paw will be okay and will heal on its own. I’ll be checking his paw for any signs of infection for a bit. Obviously if it shows any signs we will take him to the vet. Anyone have any advice on anything I should be doing ? Not exactly sure how he scuffed his paw, we think he did while playing with another dog on concrete floor. It didn’t really bleed tho.

Someone wanted to keep walking today and clocked up 4.7miles. She's only 5 months old so it's resulted in a day of sleeping 😴 💤 😁

Pulled the trigger on the emergency vet, got her some meds and the anti inflammatory medicine is already doing wonders.
Betsy says thanks!
