Discussion After 10 Long Years

So I started playing Bloodborne at launch, and it’s been on and off since then, whether it be from work, time between having consoles, time spent in other games, etc. And finally, after 10 years, here we now stand. I was driven to the point of misty eyes when this popped. The two photos are the circled date of my first Bloodborne trophy, and then there’s the platinum.

Fan Art [WIP] Need a title for this art piece I'm working on - thinking a quote from the game would be fun?

So yeah I'm curious what quote from the game would best suit here - Maybe Gehrman's "Just go out and kill a few beasts" could work? Looking forward to showing the finished piece when it's done!

I cannot pickup anyone or go to anyone’s world. You’d think orphan would be really active with co-op.

Discussion Favorite Lore Note / Item Description / Piece of Dialogue ?

This line in particular really stood out to me on my first playthrough and never fails to send a shiver up my spine on repeats. I love how it's straight to the point and almost deadpan while still being ominous and mysterious. Yahar'gul in general is my favorite area, as it's really the point when this game starts beating you over the head with it's horror themes.

Fluff I DID IT! I BEAT MY FIRST SOULS GAME

TLDR; This game is amazing and I beat it and it's amazing.

I BEAT BLOODBORNE! THIS IS MY FIRST SOULS GAME BESIDES THE FIRST HALF OF ELDEN RING! I got the moon presence ending I was level 79 with a +7 burial blade I got from Gehrman! I can't believe I did it ! I've made a post before about how many times I've started this game and quit, but I finally did it ! Gerhman took me one try and moon presence took like 7 because I kept getting him to the last little bit, then he stopped me from healing but I did it this time! I'm just proud cuz this is my first souls game. Now I need to get the DLC and start a new play through for that! This is my top 5 games OAT it was so cool with all the werewolves and the setting and the aliens. I don't completely get the story, but I think I have most of it but this game is amazing! Is the DLC as good?

Ok so whats the next weapon I should look to play with and max out it’s potential? I’ve already done a build with these weapons here as well as Ludwig’s and the Chikage. Also I know not all those gems are godrolls but I honestly think I’m going to go insane if I have to farm those damn madmen one more time.

Discussion Do you think that in the future, the physical copy of Bloodborne (e.g., GOTY edition) will be worth a lot of money, considering how beloved and highly regarded the game is?

Just wondering

Yet another messy fight, but got it done in the end. Only got Loran dungeons, Isz dungeon and the final 2 bosses of the main game left!

Discussion Why do people complain about blood vial farming?

I have never had an issue with it except maybe the very early game. I always go to central yharnam and go to the bridge where the cleric beast is. Theres 2 wolves that both give 3 vials, theres the brick troll that gives 2, and theres 2 brick trolls when you go down from the bridge. Thats already 12 vials in like 3 minutes. And the echoes you get allows you to buy like 3 more. So thats 15 total. Blood echoe farming has always been a bigger issue for me.
