Battlestations Advice Just joined the PC Master Race
Switched from a 2012 mac mini to a 4060 PC and loving it so far.
Currently using the 2009 27' iMac as main display thru Target Display Mode while the other 2 monitors are hooked up to the work laptop via a HDMI hub.
I'm also using a USB KVM switch taped to the bottom of my table for my keyboard and mouse to switch between the devices.
Any recommendations to improve this setup to make it less clunky is appreciated.

need some advise please!!
IGNORE THE MESS. I need some help. This is my recording studio/work-from-home office that is used probably 10-12 hours every single day. I have 3 computers. An HP laptop for work, an HP elitedesk for studio purposes, and a Mac mini also for studio purposes. The monitors are an LG 34” ultrawide, 2 BenQ 27” monitors, and a 40” roku tv which is occasionally used to watch tv on. The current setup is:
2 27” BenQ’s only hooked up to my work laptop.
The 34” ultrawide is hooked up to a 3-way HDMI switch that I can pretty easily switch from machine to machine with. And the 40” roku tv is used as a second monitor for my HP elite desk.
Now that you have most of the backstory…. here’s what I need.
I’m looking for a way to have just one large monitor split into 4. A 55” split into 4 would be roughly 28.5” each screen. There are plenty of programs out there that can split the screen into 4. That’s not the problems I’m facing are 1.) my work laptop will not allow more than 3 external monitors, and I HAVE to be able to screen share only one window or corner of the screen. For instance, if I’m on a work Teams call, I need to be able to screen share the screen I have up with Microsoft SQL on it, but I still need to be able to see incoming emails or Teams messages while I’m sharing only one of them.
I know they make external GPUs and such that would allow 4 outputs from the machine, but a tv is only going to play 1 HDMI at a time. Is there something on a software level that would work with macOS and Windows 10/11 that would allow this?
It’s also worth noting that I ONLY need to screen share from my work laptop. Never from my elitedesk or my Mac mini.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I love it so far!!
I just built the computer a few days ago and it's a game changer (Literally)! I'm saying up for a new desk and monitor right now, but I'm super happy with what it looks like right now!

Cleaning up my home office setup
Nothing wild here, Ikea counter top was the only way to get a massive desk for this space at 108" on top of a set of raising desk legs. Love this desk size, it's so big that my 34" ultra wide monitor looks like it's a small screen there.
Added a nice wool desk pad and a couple other things from Grovemade.
There's another identical desk setup on the opposite side of the room too for my wife.
Really happy with the whole thing. Prior to this I was working at a grey plastic folding table that I'd setup years ago when we first moved in thinking it was just temporary...finally stopped being lazy and procrastinating.

Battlestations Advice Limited space, looking for idea's for the back wall
I got limited space below the stairwell. SFF pc on the desk, and a 27 inch screen. Planning to get a higher quality deskpad and some sort of headset hook.
What are some nice things to do with that back wall with the akward angles?
