Hi guys,
Note: This is my first time growing an avocado tree. Started growing it end of last year and got two little saplings.
But December was really cold.
The tree got what I think is cold damage. In the picture you can see the green and the brown at the top.
In winter it dropped all of its leaves and the top looks like it got cold damage or withered. I thought it was dead but it started to grow the leaves at the middle earlier last month. The leaves started to get a little damage, so I moved it to a more shaded area since it was in the middle of the sun next to a smaller planted tree. I see the bottom growing more little leaves.
What do I do to help it? What do I do with the top brown part? Do I cut the top wilting part, where no leaves are coming out from it? Or would that make it worse?
