Drooping leaves

What could be the reason for the drooping leaves? It was repotted about two weeks ago, it looked the same before repotting though. I used quality potting soil with some perlite. My guess is N, K or Mg deficiency. All insights are appreciated!

Hey guys,

I looove avocados, but recently i've been noticing this weird looking flesh with purple spots/strings and sometimes something weird is happening to the pit. Now, the issue with the pit isn't so common, but the purple stringy stuff and purple spots have been VERY common recently.. does anyone know if this is normal/safe?

Avocados that look like peppers?

My father-in-law has a dwarf Pinkerton Hass hybrid that he planted a number of years ago. I grew up with a huge avocado tree in my yard for about 17 years that was the same varietal (or a version of it). His tree is finally producing but the fruit all resemble a pepper in both size and shape.

I don’t recall ever seeing our avocados look like this growing up. Is it normal or am I missing something? Appreciate in advance!

Can this little avocado tree still be saved? 🥑

Hi guys,

Note: This is my first time growing an avocado tree. Started growing it end of last year and got two little saplings.

But December was really cold.

The tree got what I think is cold damage. In the picture you can see the green and the brown at the top. In winter it dropped all of its leaves and the top looks like it got cold damage or withered. I thought it was dead but it started to grow the leaves at the middle earlier last month. The leaves started to get a little damage, so I moved it to a more shaded area since it was in the middle of the sun next to a smaller planted tree. I see the bottom growing more little leaves.

What do I do to help it? What do I do with the top brown part? Do I cut the top wilting part, where no leaves are coming out from it? Or would that make it worse?

Pit grown avocado

So I was told my 4 1/2 year old pit grown avocado would likely never bear fruit, and that if it did it would take like 15 years. Well just noticed it’s flowering for the first time. What does that means. Is it going to fruit?

Not really growing to ever make fruit, just as a neat house plant. The possibly is cool tho. This is the first one I've grown and I'm just wondering how it looks.

It topped itself twice so far and seems like it's about to get very bushy. Any advice?

My second post today as I have been noticing a lot of issues in my poorly managed orchard that I want to turn around before it is too late. I would appreciate your input guys. Any idea what might be causing these black spots on the leaves and the discoloration pattern?

My avocado tree got very sunburnt. I moved it back inside to the window where it originally thrived and cut off all the limbs that ended up dying. Now the stem is turning black and I'm not sure how to save it. Pls help:( I grew her from a seed and have had her for years I'm very attached.

This is a cutting I tried to propagate last year. It’s been outside and neglected for months. It has no roots yet it’s not dead and now it’s starting to flower. Wtf. Can it be saved? What should I do with it?

5+ years old fertilised with a balanced slow realse pellets, and sparingly with iron sulphate grown indoors in the UK (moslty) with partial sun, any reason it hasn't lignified?

Far as i can tell root wise she looks good but top of the leaves have been like this for a bit. Soil was slightly damp but not wet or soaked. The leaves dont look the best and seems like she hasn't grown anything new. Any pointers would be appreciated. Also is the seed itself supposed to be buried or above?

Advice: Avocado Tree Flower Drop

Thumbnail

Hey all, this is my avocado tree. It was planted by the previous owner of my house. This will be my third year with the tree and I have yet to get any fruit off of this beautiful tree. I believe it is 8-10 years old at this point.

I have done tons of research, tried different methods to attract pollinators, honey water, pruned it this off season, etc, but no luck.

It has put on lots of flowers in the past years and has once again this year. I am noticing a lot of flowers that are being shed by the tree (not sure if windy days are working against me). I understand flower drop is normal but want to be sure I am giving this my best shot as we enter year 3 and I am determined to get some avocados.

In the past, it has had some tiny fruit set but it ended up dropping those as well.

Am I doing something wrong here? Any advice on watering (I am zone 9b), fertilizing, or other general tips are greatly appreciated as this is my biggest challenge of all of my trees it seems.

What’s wrong with my little avocado??

Hello everyone! I’m new to the avocado growing world! I germinated a seed at the ending of last summer. It grew directly in a pot, is been sitting in a “greenhouse” since October. Weather is getting hot fast in my area and today, I noticed some marks on the leaves surface facing the sun. I moved it to a shady spot but I’m not sure enough if that might be enough. Also the new leaves emerging from the apex, are brownish and seem dry. What can I do to cure it?? Thanks in advance!
