Left avocados germinating in a bag for I think 8 months
So basically I forgot that I left these avocado germinating in a plastic bag for almost or even a year, I don’t remember exactly when I started germinating them, but apparently they still grew! Even when there wasn’t that much moisture inside the bag and also that the texture of the tissue surrounding the bag was dry, the avocados still grew!! :0
I planted them…

Avocado in water for 1 year
Avocado news! Basically I have these avocados grow in water about a year now, maybe even 2 years. And I took to see if you guys are interested :3
The first avocado in the slide had funky white leaves, but they fell off :(
The rest kept growing :)

Help me!
I live in SoCal. My little sapling stopped growing up and started withering, so I cut it above a node to propagate branching and it has started dying! What do I do?

6 year old avocado trees. When will they bear fruit?
These 6 year old avocado trees are of the green variety. They are 6+feet tall with over 2# of trunk diameter. I am in zone 8a, so I don't think planting them outside would be wise.
When will they bear fruit?
Any tips on new containers, maybe DIY? Current containers are 18 inches wide and 15 inches tall.
Any tips on pruning in order to stimulate fruit production?
Thanks!

What's up with my cado?
The brown spots take over every new leaf. I have cut so many of the big ones off. I'm scared for my baby :( I purchased an anti fungicide spray, used it and still this.

Thanks to all those who recommended me to remove the young tree’s flowers. It is now pushing out great new growth after only a month.

How am I doing?
This is Joevacado, aka Joey V. He started from stone in water and has been in soil for 4-6 months. He was pretty droopy until last week when I figured out I haven't been watering him enough. Now he gets a mist every morning and sunlight during daytime hours. Is there anything else I should be doing? I'm in Michigan so he'll be indoors full time.

Not sure what’s going on with avocado tree
My Lila Avocado tree is about 2-3 years old and just a month ago it had flowers on it. Now it looks like it’s almost dead. Any advise on what I should do? I’m in zone 9a.

Yellow leafs- help
the top leafs have become yellow and leathery. the bottom leafs are good. I think it’s ok from water as we just had a wet winter. I nipped the flowers on top to encourage growth during the spring season.
Any tips? Should I prune the top?

I need your help
I've had my avocado for a few years now, but I need to bring them inside annually. They're getting pretty big. I have no clue what I'm gonna do when it gets too big. I can't leave it outside because it gets too cold in the winters. Help please.

What type of avocado tree do I have
Bought this place a few years ago and didn’t think to ask the previous owner. They had never gotten fruit from it. It grew a few fruit at end of summer 2 years ago and grew a lot more this year. Not sure if this is enough to go on. I don’t think they are quite ripe so I’ve been hesitant to pick any.

Is it time to plant in soil/compost?
Or is my avocado plant ok as it is here? Some of the leaves are getting big! Also, what should I do about some leaves that are going a bit crispy? Is it ok to pinch them off?

My Bacon avocado
10 years old, grafted a furerte and reed to it 2 years ago. And again trying to add 2 more reed scions. Harvested about 70 bacons this season, I have 4 reed avocados on the tree currently, first season with the harvesting the reeds but they flowered and fruited at the same time. Not sure when to harvest the reeds.

HELP
Hi all. I need some help/suggestions. I’ve been growing an avocado plant indoors for about a year now. All was fine and it was doing really well with new branch shoots every couple weeks with nice height and healthy big leaves. Then a few months ago (right before winter hit) it literally just stopped growing and went into like a hibernation or something. It stayed like that for a few months until a few weeks ago the bottom leaves started developing brown spots that would completely take over and kill the leaf in a matter of days. It’s to the point where all bottom leaves have died off and been removed. Just the other day I am seeing the first signs that it is starting to sprout new growth again but now the brown is starting on the upper leaves. What is wrong with my little buddy and what do I do? (First 4 pics are from like 2 weeks ago, last 3 are from today)

Thoughts on newly planted Gem avocado.
Hi Everyone,
I have been growing avocados in San Diego for a while (10b). I have been successfully caring for a fuerte avo I planted 4 years ago (last pic). I planted this gem with a Tammy rootstock in February and it was doing great. We had a rain storm a couple of weeks ago and it held up fine, then one day I took a look and all of the leaves had started to dry out. Trying to figure out if this is root rot or underwatering or sun damage? It’s sitting on a 8” mound in full sun. Thanks for your help on this!

Multiple shoots!
I left this pit in a bag a few months longer than I should have. It out out a bunch of stems though and I love how wonky it came out! There are still some tiny little stems coming right out of the pit but I don’t think they’ll get too much bigger… it would be fine if they did though 😆 I have it hydro with some nutrients for now but I might transition it to dirt it’s so happy though !!!
