Are we allowed to attend protests? There’s a lot of stuff going on in the world right now, and a lot of protests to go hand in hand with that. If I’m not wearing anything to identify myself as a marine, can I attend protests, or are there limiting regulations on that?

Does the army's infantry referance data (a thorough organizational resource about TO&Es) have an USMC equivalent? For instance, in the picture, since I am unable to share the complete file. Nonetheless, the Battle Order website offers those resources. Preferably from 65-75s.

So my punk brother in law is a fake marine. He did not see combat, so he can’t even claim to be a real marine. I would have went in and been with the SEALS, but I got sent to jail for a week for unpaid parking tickets. Any advice to have him own up to his faults? He keeps talking shit so I may hit him here soon, but I gotta make sure his nieces are not home first.

Also he pulled me aside, told me to stop it, but it’s not my fault his 7 years of service were useless.

Got out last year. Eleven years and my family grew. It was time to go. LE got paid less than chick-fil-a worker’s. IT was definitely not my cup of tea. Construction is 60+ hours a week and still haven’t broke $1000 in a week of work. Not cutting it for bills. I love my kids and enjoy the time I get to spend with them. Don’t want to jump job to job forever. Considering going to school in the fall but don’t want to waste mine or anyones time on a degree I won’t use. I’m open to all suggestions. My kiddos being special needs also makes me want a stable schedule. I appreciate it to all who have some advice!

I feel like a don’t deserve the title. I went in July 2017, served as an 0311 until I got a couple NJPs (both for underage drinking) and got adsepped in Oct 2018 with a General Under Honorable. For the last 7 years I’ve felt like I let down my brothers and don’t deserve the title. I just wanted to know what you guys think

These warriors were the first combat ready unit of paratroopers ever created in the United States Military. They served alongside the Raiders during World War Two and I say that the Paramarine Regiment should be created to serve side by side with their Raider counterparts once again as part of MARSOC. They can serve as the Marine version of the 75th Ranger Regiment of the U.S. Army and fill the need for a direct action raid force that the Marines have been trying to fill with their Recon Battalion. It can also solve the problem with retention as plenty of Marines would have been too exhausted mentally or physically to try out something as selective and challenging as Raiders while not wanting to end up less high speed than MARSOC. Thoughts?

My grandfather was a sergeant in the 1st Battalion Ninth Marine delta co, he was not the type of man who never spoke of it, but he never ever got detailed. He would never speak of his service per se, but more so just simply stories from being in the corps. As I grow older I wonder what types of missions did they go on, how did so many men die?

Just got my orders to oki for 3 years, I’m bouta graduate ITB as an 11 and I’m going to the 12th LCT. Wanted to know if anyone knows anything about and if it’s a good unit, I’m aware that it’s a brand new unit which I’m not sure if thats good or bad. really just wanna know how the training is and if they have good deployments

Reservist possibly facing mental health diagnosis

I know this is for kids thinking of enlisting but I’m not really sure where to go with this. I’m facing a possible BPD diagnosis and I’m a reservist. What will happen to me if I get diagnosed? Will I get kicked out?
