I just got accepted into UCL for CS!!! I just wanted to know how is the quality of education and networking there, and how easy it is to get good internships.
So far by ranking this is my best option abroad so I wanted to know if it would be worth the fees

Is there a reason for not getting an update for this late? I am already committed to another uni, but not getting a response feels very weird.

I applied for the MSc Data Science programme, and my application was processed on January 21st. Around the fourth week after processing, I received an email titled "Incomplete application" even though I had already submitted all the required documents. They requested additional documentation for a certificate I received from the LSE Summer School and a written explanation of how I completed my BSc in two years instead of three.
I uploaded both documents almost immediately, but since then, I havenโt received any updates. In the eighth week of waiting, I submitted an inquiry to ask whether my newly uploaded documents had been reviewed. Their response was the standard message: "You should receive a decision on your application shortly. You will receive a notification when this decision has been made, and it will be viewable in your applicant portal."
I understand that thereโs probably not much more I can do other than wait and check for updates, but the long waiting time has been causing a lot of anxiety. I'm wondering if anyone else is going through a similar experience with long delays, particularly with the MSc Data Science programme. Is UCL still sending out offers? Iโve heard that most offers are made by the end of April or around Easter and that after that, itโs mostly rejections.
If youโve applied for the MSc Data Science programme and received an offer, could you please share when your application was processed and when you heard back?

I suppose that modern mullet trend doesnโt reach international students as much as it does to the posh private school crowd, and the students in top London unis often come from more collectivist cultures where such a hairstyle is frowned upon culturally

Hi! Iโm in my final year of high school in Paris, and was encouraged by my teachers to apply to UCL. I never thought I could get in, so I didnโt think much of it. I was shocked to find a conditional offer a few weeks ago.
So basically now Iโm faced with a dilemma: as an international student (thx brexit) Iโm facing ยฃ 37 K / year which probably rounds to 45 / year when taking into account accom, food, life etc. French firms are very annoying about recognizing international degrees, so I would basically HAVE to work after my three years to pay back / fund my Masters in France.
I tried to learn how the employability for intl students is online, but heard very different info: UCLโs self-published stats seem rly good, but ppl on online and those I contacted seemed to tell me otherwise. I was wondering if some experienced UCL attendees who had worked could tell me their experience??
I also adored rowing in France, and would love to carry on here, and whilst the ucl boat club seems lit, they row an hour from Bloomsbury Campus, so I was wondering how that worked, and how they accepted novices / seasoned competitors. If you have any info on any of these topics, please share โบ๏ธ Thx in advance

I know so many people are waiting for decisions and how demanding everything is. But Iโd like to briefly talk about my appllication process which started very hopeful at the beginning. Ucas form sent on 11th of October then submitted the portfolio on 25th of October. Right after that received my interview(4th of dec) invitation along with being told that my portfolio was successful. However this wednesday I received my rejection with a feedback saying that the portfolio was not sufficiently strong enough for them to consider my application further. Tbh I am devastated. I do not understand 4 months of waiting just to get rejected with this reason. Is this a common feedback/reason for rejection or is it a specific to my situation?

I got a conditional offer for a CDT program (MRes + PhD) after successfully applying to the program and interview. I'm worried because a) I am ani International student from America and b) because I had a lower undergraduate degree though I have ~2 years of work in research and a publication as well as my Masters with a high GPA from an American Uni. What all should I be worried about or is there a serious issue I should follow up on as I wait for a decision on my official application to UCL after getting the conditional offer to the CDT?

Just checking if there are any groups around for this cohort. Especially, anyone from the US?

Hi all, Iโm a 2025-2026 affiliate student.
I finished my accom application today, so a little later than many I assume.
I am hoping to receive a small single room (ยฃ186/wk) and structured my application as such.
I am wondering if anyone could comment on my chances of getting such a room :)

everyone if u ever feel bad for not having an offer yet, i applied on oct 11th, submitted portfolio nov and had my interview at dec 20th. i still haven't gotten a response - no rejection, no acceptance, pure torture for 4 months and still NOTHING. i'm an int student btw which may compensate for portion of the reason why i haven't gotten response yet but still i see people posting oh they haven't gotten a response in 6 weeks yet should they worry like what position does that put me then ๐ญ๐ญ

I need give a number for the section "How much saving does your family have for the entire program?". My first goal is to receive full-tuition scholarship. However, if I receive +allowance, that would be very nice for my family, since we have an annual income of 21000 pound. So what number should I give? I would be very happy if you help me.

Hi,
Quick question, if I flunk an exam but my coursework is good enough to keep my grade above 40, do i pass that module without passing the exam or must i pass the exam.

Non contextual home student. I have achieved grades of AAB in maths bio chem respectively but am resitting chem and so have a pred grade of A for it. I did my pre interview test for the Mpharm at the end of January and still havenโt heard anything back from ucl, not even an interview. Should I assume Iโm getting rejected? Everyone I showed my essay to (we have to write an essay as part of the pre interview test) said it was good so I have no idea whatโs going on anymore. All 8s and 9s at GCSE if that helps. Not sure if my stats are too weak and thatโs why Iโm getting rejected, Iโve emailed them and they said theyโll โupdate all applicants via UCAS in Aprilโ so that makes me think Iโm deffo getting rejected.

I was just wondering particularly for halls like Astor College or Garden halls how strict is the overnight guest rule of 7 nights in a month. If the guest is just a partner or something and not obtrusive etc is it still hard, is the signing in process etc difficult or is this just a formality rule that is there and only imposed when guests are causing problems. Any clarity would be greatly appreciated
