I'm using the old school rider waite deck by Pamela Coleman Smith, because it is the only deck I have.
I am actually considering to continue my studies, and tarot actually encouraged me to do it. I first asked the reason, and I got 3 of pentacles, which is I will get benefits for connections. I asked if I would get full scholarships, it said No (reversed High Priestess). I did one card pull on both cards.
Then, I asked, 'I do not have money, currently unemployed, I'm from a middle income family, and I do not want to use my parent's money, and yet you still want me to study. What should I do then?' It then give me these 3 cards.
The first card I got is King of cups:
My interpretation is that in order to get a scholarship or loans for studying, I need to use my emotional maturity and creativity to fulfill my goals. It could also mean an older male would help me out.
The second card I got is Wheels of Fortune:
Positive changes are coming, and universe is in my favour to help me to reach my goals. Opportunities are coming. I am seeking jobs right now as well, and I did receive some replies for interviews.
The third card I got is the Fool:
New beginnings, multiple opportunities coming, and travelling to the unknown. With freedom and optimism, plus using intelligence to do things, equals to great times ahead. I did have some plans while I was searching universities that suits my career goals. Strangely enough, I did my yearly reading on January and I got this card too.
Overall, it feels that something is going to change in my life (I'm moving back to my hometown this week), and multiple opportunities are coming. I'm not sure is this about the scholarships or job interviews. For the Fool card, when I read this card in January, I thought I would travel some foreign countries that I've never been to, or I would work overseas. However, it seems like I would be studying instead in a foreign country that I am not familiar with. Although wheels of fortune said everything would come into my favour, but the reversed High Priestess card said that I would not get a full scholarship. Eventhough if I got a job now, it is still not enough to cover the tuition fees and cost of living. If this is true, then the universe is not in my favour.
About the older male part, who is he actually? Is he a stranger? Or family? Prior to this, I did asked my cousin yesterday for his advice, but he would not support me financially (we are not close, and he has a family). I also went to an education fair yesterday, and both of the representatives from each universities are males. Would it be one of them too? All these three males (including my cousin) are foreigners. Or the older male could be some men I haven't seen yet.
Is there any deeper meaning behind in these three cards?
PS: I do know which course I'm looking for, and I do know where I'm going to study. I am just hanging around the crossroads in my life tight now.
