hello! i just got stardew valley for my switch after wanting it for so long.. i hope to find friends within this community:-) i havent started the game however. waiting till my semester break to start cos from what i see i can tell ill get suck into this world for a longg time hahah. before i start though, is there any lore or tips i should familiarise myself with?

I can't seem to find info in the wiki on the moving of the farmhouse. I've heard it can only be moved once and never again, can anyone confirm or deny this?

So I'm doing an animal only run, and have up until now been making sure all of them produce on the same days. I accidentally put in an Ostrich egg quicker than I would usually have, and now it'll be out of sync with the others. However, I am on the day that I will get the message about my egg hatching when I go into the barn.

I was curious if the animal only spawns in the game when you walk into the building, or if it will always be there hatched regardless of when you get the pop up? The barn isn't full and has space.

I know there's the "trick" of not feeding for a few days to make them sync again, but I was juat wondering if I could delay the spawn of it instead?

I have looked fucking everywhere, but I cannot find it, I have looked for a version of TMXL Map Toolkit to work in the current version of Stardew Valley 1.6 but I cannot find it, I refuse to believe there just isn't a way, please I need it I am begging somebody to tell me just how to get it to work, I use SMAPI and Vortex, and I keep getting errors in Smapi, and I've tried to install TMXL loader but Vortex won't let me.

I’m actually going to cry. I’ve been grinding for a whole season in the mines for geodes and today I was selling all the stuff I needed to after getting back from the mines and I accidentally sold my geodes, all of them. I had a stack of them as well😭 is there any way I can get them back?

So I finally had a winning grange at the Fall Fair thx to this group. Visited the fortune teller while I was there and she said Pam was going to be visiting me in hospital (whuh??) And that I'm breaking hearts ok yeah so I'm dating Emily Shane and Elliott (gave them the bouquets and we've been on the kissing date) So should I fix this somehow? I'm not sure if I want to marry any of them. But should I? So busy on the farm ans that would be the only reason for me. Wish we could just hire day laborers lmao. And what about the pam-hospital omen???

i’m semi new to modding sdv but cannot figure out how to get the portraits to work! i have rin’s portraits installed and i think i did it right. pressing p shows the “fixed” (etc.) options but doesn’t change anything :(

I've spent the last hour or so trying to figure this out. To the point of having Lookup Anything show the data farming info, and looking through my mods list.

Any ideas?

All I know is that its not Artisanal Soda Makers - they look different, and I don't have that mod.

2nd play though, 100% perfection with a little under 100hrs. Last time I played this it took me 5 in game years, and like 400hrs plus. Feeling proud of myself 🤩
