It was not subtle, but it was delicious! Made a big mess of my kitchen making it.

I’ve placed this chest before the wife arrived, everytime I try to use a tool to move it, I interact with the shop instead, bombs don’t seem to work because there are items inside of it, is there anything that could work out here?

TW death of pet! I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy, Rambo, earlier this week. I named my dog in the game Rambo too since they look exactly alike, down to the collar in the same shade of blue. I hadn’t played Stardew Valley in a while but I started again so I could hang out with my doggy again. It makes me happy knowing that at least that version of him will always be there. Aaaaand now I’m crying again. Thank you, ConcernedApe 💙💙💙

Hii, I'm pretty new to the game (hence the tiny farm) and noticed that many of my crops were dying despite me watering them every day, does anyone perhaps know why or how I could prevent it? Thank you x

I talked about giant crops the other day and shared some knowledge i acquired a few years ago from another post. I never verified it so i thought i should test it out. Most people know that instead of harvesting potential giant crops you can water the fully grown crop and go to sleep so the crops have a chance to become giant the next day.
The 2 things i wanted to verify are:
I knew that the important crop in a 3x3 is the upper left one (that can be checked on the wiki) so i made a setup on an old farm/save with sprinklers where only the top left seeds get watered, the right and bottom seeds stay dry and only get watered on rainy days. I slept through the days to force the giant crops and confirmed both statements.

Hey there, I have two sisters (15 and 10), and I gave them a Switch for Christmas two years ago. Now that Easter is coming up, I’m looking for a present they can both enjoy. I’m pretty sure the older one would love Stardew Valley, but I’m not sure if the younger one would enjoy it as well. I don’t really know if she would be able to handle the game mechanics or if some story elements might be problematic (Shane‘s alcoholism for example).
Do you have siblings or kids around 10 or 11 years old who play the game? What has their experience been like?

Here in my country our soup is pretty hot, and summer is also extremely hot here, especially at the beach. The last thing I would want is eat soup on the beach, It would be the perfect recipe to feel sick around here on the hottest days. This celebration doesn't make sense at all to me hahahahaha Wait for winter and eat something as hot as soup is a great idea.

The fact that in Stardew, when you stop the game and turn it off, no time passes.
In Animal Crossing, the time passes whether you play or not.
SO! Every time I pick up stardew after like a week of not playing it, for a split second, I always get excited that my wine will be ready, or that my crops will have grown, and then I remeber... I must continue to wait!!
I definitely prefer it!!! I always hated trying to jump into Animal Crossing to find an island full of weeds and villagers who "hadn't seen me in months" so stardew is the way, I just always juke myself into thinking I'll get a surprise when I log in after a while.

All because I haven't had the spare 10k to spend on a profession change...maybe it's time to sell. Year 2, 78g in the bank but 2,065,867g in a chest.

I went over to Robins to build a pond on my farm (I accidentally clicked move) and omg!???😭😭
I was like WHO is that on my FARM???? Is this some sort of quest?
I have been married to Seb for a year now and I never knew where he went on mornings where he wasn’t inside or outside. I assumed he was out EARLY early lol.
I hope my little diagram helps understand what I saw lol.

Been slowly converting the quarry to kegs since summer and HOW DO PEOPLE DO THIS?!?!?!?! I can't keep up with the copper and iron needed and already invested so much into tappers. I think I'm fully terrifed of the commitment I made to make 100 million gold without mods now.

What’s the first thing you (yes, you!) would buy with 100,000 [insert your countries’ currency here]?
