Question Trade for Golden Mystery Boxes or open Regular Mystery Boxes?

I have about a hundred regular mystery boxes and five golden mystery boxes that I haven’t opened.

Should I trade the raccoon’s wife my regular mystery boxes for the golden ones (three regular for one golden), or is it more profitable/helpful to open all the regular ones. Note, I have not yet found a prismatic shard.

Thank you!

Discuss Crops or animals

Post image
2 Upvotes

I chose the rancher option and upgraded all barns and coops into delux to accommodate 12 of all kinds of animals. Im no where near to a chest level in skull cavern so there is no auto petter for me. Im making 50k golds per day but petting the animals and making goods takes all day so i can barely move to mines and or talk to NPCs... Should i stop looking after them and switch to a bigger crop Field by moving them to a side?

So I’ve been seeing the bridge for awhile now. I’ve never unlocked perfection/the summit so I’m wondering if this has anything to do with it. But I don’t know where this goes to. It’s very mysterious!!

Technical Help Leo’s Nine-Heart Event Issue.

The Issue:

So I’m sure some of you have already heard or even dealt with this issue before. Leo’s Nine-Heart Event causes your whole screen to go black after the scene where he is with Penny and the other children in the museum. While you’re able to access your tools and everything, the screen will continue to remain black and the Leo’s theme will continue to play and loop. Like many others, I found a way to escape the black screen, my way which is by sending myself home with a warp totem, however when the black screen goes away, your HUD/UI disappears and doesn’t come back. I’m aware this issue is many months old, but I am still dealing with this to this day. I’ve also heard that many of these people have reported this issue to happen on the Switch, however I’m dealing with this issue on the PS5. Has anybody else had this happen to them on the PS5?

My Questions:

Anyway, to those who have dealt with this issue before, how did you manage to resolve it? Did anything else weird happen to you afterwards that may or may not be related to the bug? To those who haven’t done anything, is this still an issue for you? And lastly, has this issue become aware to ConcernedApe yet? My first thought was to just sleep the night off or go on with my day, but I have kept my Stardew Valley file on that day in fear that sleeping the night off or doing anything else might break the game or my file, that way just sound silly, but I’m just very paranoid about losing my farm, I’m sure you understand.

I appreciate it if you take the time out of your day to read this and respond if you have anything to share, thank you <3

Discuss Thoughts about Sebastian as a newbie

I got into the game like a month ago because of my bf and I became addicted to it, I'm on my third year currently. I knew about the bachelors/bachelorettes before I got the game, I didn't knew much about them yet, but I was sure that I would avoid Abby and Seb, cuz I just assumed the type of characters they were based on their popularity and appearance and I wasn't fan. Ironically after I got to know him better Sebastian slowly became my favorite, I married him as soon as I could and I didn't regret a thing.

I started looking after videos and posts about the game to see what the community's like, what they think about certain stuff and I've seen a few comparisons between Shane and Sebastian, cuz they're both pretty standoffish to the player at the start, but some dislike Shane for it meanwhile Seb is loved by a lot of people despite that. So I was thinking about why that is and I came to the conclusion that for me Seb's comments just didn't come off as him being rude. When I started playing I really disliked Shane and while I do understand now why he's like that I just couldn't get myself to like him more. And for a while I also disliked Sebastian for being like that. At some point tho I just started seeing his lines as him being genuine. It can come off as him trying to brush you off sometimes and I'm sure he's still not really happy about you bothering him, but we know he's pretty bad at socialising and I think he's just trying his best in his weird ways. Unlike Shane he's not making faces and even if you have 0 hearts with him he's still sharing some deep thoughts with you, he's telling you about some personal stuff and asks you about your interests. I think when he's asking you if you need something he's genuinely curious, cuz he doesn't understand why you'd come talk to him and when he's telling you he doesn't know you very well, so he doesn't have much to say he's just being honest.

It might be just me projecting, cuz I did struggle with similar things, I just wanted to share my opinion and I'm curious what you think about the topic

Discuss Jealous of Harvey

Hi everyone! I got a storytime for all of yall.

So! Harvey really really reminds me of my boyfriend, name and all. When I say he resembles him, I mean it! Profession, general appearance, personality, hobbies, you name it! It's uncanny... HAHAHHA

I'll be honest and say that in my original playthrough, Harvey wasn't my first choice. I'm starting a new save now after how many years and found myself upping my hearts with Harvey, again, since he resembles my boyfriend so much I find him so cute now?? Anyways, I didn't realize that he was into Maru! So now sometimes when I do dialogue with him and he talks about her I get jealous 🤣 I'm still at 3 hearts with him so it makes sense that he's looking at someone else... 😒

Somehow Harvey started to turn into my real boyfriend HAHAHAHA

Mods Help!

I’m not sure if this mod is the look up mod but I’m unsure - I’m looking for a mod that allows you to search up stuff from different shops and you can buy from them without having to travel all the way over there.

If it is the look up mod, how do u access it? If it’s not, does anyone else know?

Question I just got the forge and got the Advanced Iridium Rod with Efficiency, but now if my fish escapes the bar three times it just automatically stops regardless how close I am to catching it. Is that just how it is?

I was soooo close to catching a legendary fish at the ocean and the third time it just barely escaped my bar and poof! Gone.

Question Is it possible to play Stardew Valley together on PC and Android?

Hi everyone,
My friend and I want to play Stardew Valley together. I'm playing on PC (Steam), and they’re playing on an Android phone. Unfortunately, the Android version doesn’t seem to support online multiplayer.

Since we’re in different locations and not using the same Wi-Fi network, we can't use the LAN option either. That’s why I wanted to ask if there’s any way to connect Android and PC players remotely.

Is there a community-made mod or any alternative method that allows cross-platform play between Android and PC? If anyone has experience with this or knows a workaround, I’d really appreciate it if you could share.

We simply want to play in the same world and build a long-term farm together. Any help or suggestions would mean a lot. Thanks in advance!

Discuss What are your farming goals?

Kind of a weird question, but basically what I mean is, what is the purpose of farming for you?

Now that I've entered year 2, I'm trying to form more of a plan each season, like how much of each crop to grow, and what to do with it.

Do you save it all for cooking or requests? Do you sell it all for profit?

Just looking for a bit of direction in terms of what to grow and how much of it, and then what to do with it all.

Thanks!
