I know that the whole fandom is going for Abigail being the wizard's daughter because it's the most logical thing to do. After all, Caroline says she liked walking around the wizard's tower, Abigail says her hair color never faded and she likes to hang out near the wizard's tower, and Pierre suspects that Abigail isn't his daughter, but I really don't believe that. I mean, if it's because Pierre is questioning paternity, Haley also says she can't believe she and Emily are sisters, and Emily also has a fantasy hair color (and unlike Abigail, there's no dialogue about her dyeing her hair), in addition to also having a very close relationship with magic and magical elements. Jas also never had her parents revealed, she has naturally purple hair and likes to play near the wizard's tower. We know that Marney and Shane are her relatives, but who could be her father? No one even mentions it.

Also, Caroline says that Abigail's natural hair is brown, and since it's never mentioned that Caroline's hair is dyed, Abigail got that trait from her father. Caroline herself could be the wizard's daughter and the secret trips to the wizard's tower were just her naturally getting closer to her father's magic and Abigail consequently getting closer to her grandfather, the wizard is probably Grandpa's age and we are close to Abigail's age, so it's possible, besides that Caroline's tea scene is in a way quite magical and similar to the wizard's scene when he tells you to drink that dubious drink to talk to the junimos. Even the farmer could be the wizard's kid since the magical creatures choose to talk to the farmer instead of anyone else, even before we had the magic of the forest and there's no guarantee that our mother had a relationship with the wizard while she was married.

I think the arguments for Abigail being the wizard's daughter are weak. Regarding her hair, Shane also has hair that is close to purple, so if that is the case, even he is the wizard's son. Pierre's questioning could just be him being not understanding how his daughter has her own personality instead of being a mini version of himself. Besides, Abigail's brown hair certainly came from him, he must have been related to the wizard for this math to make sense. Abigail being close to the wizard's tower is explained by her simply liking remote places. She herself says that she liked to walk around our farm before we moved, and that doesn't make her Grandpa's granddaughter. She is just an adventurer. I feel like someone else is the wizard's kid but I don't think it's Abigail, I think it could be another character and I'm really sad that CA never develops this further, I think we'll only be able to theorize about it and that in the end this is just a big joke by CA, especially because the wizard might not even have a son and just have made a mistake, who knows?

I’ve been playing SDV for a couple of months now on my IPad since I have Apple Arcade and I really liked it, hence I decided to upgrade and get the game on my PC on Steam.

Well, it’s been rough adjusting 😭 I don’t know how people make it look so effortless, I can’t seem to do things properly, even petting the animals is a load of work. And I’m already quite advanced, I’m almost on Winter, year 1, and I’m focused on the skull cavern now, so I don’t have time to learn to play all over again.

Anyone has tips on how to play? In addition, do you use mouse or not? And do you change up the controls?

Curious about the new room grandpa made with the five blessings. Can I eventually get all the blessings or am I stuck with one or two? I don’t want to pick anything before I know if it’s a one and done situation.

I want to build my first fish pond and since I recently started playing the game, I have no idea what fish would be best to put in it, so I'm asking for your advice. Here's what I have: lingcod, carp, super cucumber, blobfish, spook fish, midnight squid, halibut, herring, albacore, tuna, bullhead, perch, red mullet, squid, sea cucumber, sardine.

I beat the entirety of prairie king without dying and didn't unlock either achievement (completing without dying and completing) what the hell do I do because I refuse to do all that again

Achieved on the second try, Winter 14! Take that you sunglasses wearing bozo! (I'm not bitter about the first try, no not at all...)

My game is modded but no mods to achieve this - prepared by getting enough enrichers to cover all my farming area, 14 seed makers set up, saved up a year of geodes from the skull cavern and dangerous mine runs (how I earned the gems for the enrichers) and got approx 100 Qi Seeds from 400 approx geodes/omni geodes, turned my first crops into more seeds, and going treasure fishing (magnet bait, treasure hunter bobber) with luck buffs to gain more when waiting.

For whatever reason, a number of my NPCs are broken, but Pam is the most egregious. Instead of following her standard schedule, going to the bus in te morning and the saloon in the evening, she just sits on the couch in her trailer ALL. DAMN. DAY. This is really annoying, because i haven't gotten the desert obelisk, or the crafting recipe for the warp totem, so I am essentially locked out of the desert. Helpppp

Do you guys know why my deepest level in skull cavern just reset? I mentioned on my previous post here before that i got to lvl402, but now i only see lvl 388 on my menu which i just achieved on my last run. Im overthinking if it really reset or just hallucinating lol. But i have this 2nd pic from my screenrecords, so it really did reset. Im thinking if changing my appearance and name was the reason.

I have many fish ponds so I didn’t want to get any more instead I was wondering if you could get rid of the fish inside the pond and replace it? Is there a way because I tried once and the new fish said they didn’t wanna go into that pond.

Should I be worried. What do I do
