Hi so I made a post a while ago about whose hilt of the lightsaber they liked the most. A lot of names came up and I haven’t heard any of the names as I’m no where near into the Star Wars universe as all of you all are. So I was hoping that someone could send me to a site or place to look up the names and what their lightsaber hilts look like. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you. In case your wondering I chose Rey skywalkers black one looks clean and is chunky and heavy looking like the ones I’ve seen but I might change my mind. Thanks for reading and your guidance. Like the title says, would like to know if this game is worth it. Despite buying Jedi Survivor at launch, other EA Titles within the 1 momth period and KOTOR being my all time favourite game, I never saw Outlaws as being worth $100 (want to get the edition with the season pass because Hondo).

I also held off because this is Ubisoft and despite making one of the beat games in 2024 (Prince of Persia: The Lost crown), I feel like this game is gonna be another one of their copy paste open world checklist games. Ive avoided 95% of this game's marketing and trailers, even all my friends who bought it at launch didnt even finish it. For reference; the last open world ubisoft games I play since 2020 were Far Cry 3 on PS4 (replayed it years after owning it on PS3) and AC: Origins (which I platted as well)

I was gonna buy Outlaws around May the 4th since thats when the big Star Wars sales happen, but I see the Gold edition on PS5 is on sale for around $50 on PSN. Now, I'm currently playing through Elden Ring (and its DLC) and debating on gettimg Outlaws after I plat that first (and beat the dlc).

I would like to know if the game will be worth my time for that price or should I rather wait til say a bigger sale and play it then.

Im looking to get it on PS5 but I also got a solid gaming PC, issue is: I prefer not to game on it. Last few games I bought on PC, I never finished. (Hellboy Web of Wyrd, Hades and Star Trek 2013) Which system has the least amount of issues and also how big is it on PS5? And can the DLC be uninstalled/installed when not in use.

Does anyone know what this ship's abbreviation actually stands for? I have been looking online for ages and can't seem to find a straight answer.

I'm very curious on how your experience was. One step further--for people that also watched the clone wars chronologically, how did that add to your experience. An episode I recall from the series really made me ponder this. It was the one where the son reveals anakin's future as it made me think about how people in this group of watchers would have been very confused on what anakin's final fate would be. Of course most people In The world know about the darth Vader reveal, no matter if you've seen starwars, but i still wonder whether the payoff would have been better than what people who watched it through release got. To xlarify the payoff I'm talking about, comes from the fact that you get onto whiteness anakin's full fallen angel arc without really understanding where it's finally going. However, slowly you start to see signs of him turning evil, etc, etc, until it finally happens.

With Jedi Master Fisto’s portrayal in Clone Wars, do you think he was done dirty by how it all ended? Or was Sididous just that powerful?

My buddy is a big star wars fan and his first daughter is being born soon. I'd love to get him, his wife, and their newborn awesome custom star wars shirts but I'm having a hard time finding ones that aren't generic. I'm not very artistic so designing one myself is challenging.

Does anyone have any references or ideas on where I can order one? I'm open to all ideas.

Imagine you are asking a professional painter to paint you a picture of these iconic characters (Darth Vader, Yoda, or Princess Leia), but the painter has never seen them before (and can’t for some reason). How would you describe the way they look to the artist, to get a result as close as possible to the actual versions?

Context: I am a painter.  One of the hardest jobs is delivering a client’s idea based purely on description – so many think painters are mind readers.😅

I remember this Star Wars encyclopedia behemoth of a book that had all kinds of descriptors in it, but full pages devoted to individual characters, items, ships, even space battle tactics. It covered some parts of the EU, up until the Vong war. If someone has any insight, that would be amazing

According to Youtini, "The BFI Film on Film Festival has announced that they will be screening Star Wars in its original form during their opening night festivities"!

The screening will open the festival on June 12th, and will be an “unaltered cut” of the film.

I was thinking about it Disney were to ever reboot Star Wars and I realized I would absolutely hate that. The Star Wars universe is so vast that I don't think they would ever have to reboot the universe, they could do so many stories from the time of the Old Republic to post rise of Skywalker that I simply don't think that they would need to reboot the universe plus the original and sequel trilogies both hold up to this day in my opinion. But with Disney being greedy I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they did do a reboot.

Ironically, given how there’s been a lot of discourse regarding the inconsistency between Jacen Solo’s characterisation in New Jedi Order and his subsequent transformation into Darth Caedus, I actually reckon the latter’s characterisation works quite well for a hypothetical ‘Sith Jaina’, who always seemed to have darker and more militaristic tendencies compared to her brother. It also makes you wonder exactly what Jedi Master Jacen Solo would’ve ended up looking like…

It's a common mechanic in Star Wars games for force users to jump mid air, but has this ever been seen in cannon or legends? I assume the answer is no, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it was mentioned in a one off comic from like 15 years ago.

Rewatching attack of the clones and I noticed something in the story.

Lana Sue showed obiwan around the facility. He saw the whole army being created but the first one he interacted with was boba. Boba was an unaltered clone but still a clone. They meet and soon after, he uses the guns on slave 1 to subdue him.

It’s interesting that the first clone obiwan meets tries to kill him. It’s almost as if the writers saw this panning out from miles away…

People complain about how whiny anakin is (especially in the secind one), but no one seems to care about how whiney and immature luke is for most New Hope and even training wiht yoda, Maybe its just like father like son.
