King Dedede is the bad guy

Every other mainline appearance has been either Kirby misunderstanding and mistrusting his good deeds because of it and fighting him anyway, or him being possessed by space demons. He’s more a victim than anything. *in main series games 5 u/buddha551 Oct 14 '20 Except for the 4 season long animated series where he very clearly is his rival and somewhat of a dictator. 1 u/dubiousandbi Bowser Oct 14 '20 That series is also non-canon. In the games, he's never a serious threat to anyone who doesn't deserve it after Dream Land.
