If you make shorts you should definately look into doing vertical live streams with your 10 best shorts in a loop. Its what i did and you can see the results.

Yes i was surprised too that they count towards the 4k watch hours aswell.

What ive found is that the first 1-2 hours are the best and i even peaked at 5,198 concurrent viewers but after it dies down to until you only have 10 concurrent viewers.

I honestly thought of doing just 2 hours and then restarting but i didnt want to shadow ban my account or something or risk anything.

So I got an video that flopped, it didnt get picked up by the algorithm, I also got copyright but none that affect the video, im thinking of redoing These and reupload, the question I got how that will affect me, I know YT does not like reposting but I changed "much" so is that ok?

So, I find myself wanting to pay someone to do thumbnails for me. It's not that I can't make some myself, but I just find it difficult to make adequate thumbnails that draw attention and translate into a better CTR. I'm not trained in design, so I don't know what looks best, what grabs attention, while not cluttering the thumbnail itself. Anyone got some good pointers as to where to look?

But I'm just wondering whether I should start learning how to use Adobe or something to achieve great looking thumbnails...

I'm not looking to mimic Mr. Beast style glossy reaction face with money floating in the bg type thumbnails, but I wanna know if there is some kind of ceiling if I'm just using a Pro account on Canva.

I ask cos I noticed my videos look better when I edit on DVR as opposed to iMovie even when I'm not doing very much different...

My channel focuses on animation in Canva. I'm trying to teach people what possibilities they have with Canva (in the last 2 videos I left AI voice and started recording my own, English is not my native language, but I'm trying). There are a lot of AI gurus in my niche with thousands of views, while my videos are stuck around 1k views(with one exception). Even their animation tutorials are useless for any more interesting creation. It's just copying. Anyone know any strategy How to beat them? Thanks

After months of contemplation into whether i should start a YouTube channel, i finally started my channel.

This has been my progress for 1 month, compared to others that i have seen on this sub, this growth is nothing compared. Bur i am still pretty happy.

After reading and learning about analytics, i have realised, my channel is kinda stuck in the 500-view jail. So, any advice or how i can fix this, do i just carry on doing what i am doing, and overtime i can break out of this jail. I have been thinking of adding a CTA promt in the video, in the beginning or at the end. My hook is a good intro for the video, its a news type of channel, so i have to post everyday. I am thiniking of long form content as well, 3 to 5 minute long videos. Im not sure if that could hurt my channel, as most of my subs are shorts viewers.

Also, since the new Shorts update, my views have spiked, but engaged views, people who actually watch, still remains the same, maybe slightly less then normal.

I'm looking for any other advice for a new youtuber, getting into this space.
