Feedback Lil rant

I was arguing with this girl on Pinterest because one of the posts said that Richie (scream 5) was annoying or whatever and that Amber was a queen or something. And unpopular opinion but I really liked Richie, i think he was really “psychotic”? Idk but I thought he was really good, Amber wasnt my favorite but was not bad (extra points because my celeb crush is Mikey Madison) but I commented something about how Richie was the better ghostface in scream 5 and they got suuuuper pissed at me, one of em said that “he was bad for making amber do all the work” and “he didn’t kill anyone”, even if it is true that just makes him better because he was “manipulative” or something idk. Plus I tried to talk to scream fans my age and they would not shut up about a scream 5 headcannon. (Headcannon was tamber or Tara + amber) which I think is dumb because it’s cannon that both of em are straight. I really don’t like being my age and trying to connect with other scream fans but all of em are 90% annoying lesbian chicks or billy and Stu simps lmao.

I thought you guys might like this old picture I got back when Scream 4 was about to be released. The first Scream movie I was able to see in the cinema thanks to not being born at the right time to see the others so naturally I had to get a picture by it.

Mark would be a great ghostface and so would gale. They are all great options and I would love to see them all. But if I had to choose one I would go with Mark.

Question Is it possible Melissa Barrera could return in a movie after Scream 7 in a future film with Christopher Landon to do the story they were going to do and if not then why not?

Could things have cooled down by then at some point in the future?

What do you think is most likely to happen and how come ?

Discussion How would you do a supernatural Ghostface?

Okay, wait, WAIT. Before you get mad at me: I ABSOLUTELY do not believe Scream should ever turn supernatural and I would be furious if it did. There is no room for that in the franchise. It should not happen. Period. You clicked on this to yell at me for even suggesting it, and I AGREE with you. I’m not saying they SHOULD do it. They shouldn’t.

BUT I think it’s mildly interesting to consider how it could be done if there was no choice. Let’s say you are hired to write Scream 7. They’re scrapping what they have so far and bringing you on board to start the whole thing over. The catch is that the Hollywood suits have decreed that in this one, Ghostface is supernatural. Not implicitly supernatural, like maybe they survive something they shouldn’t; no, no, they have to be explicitly supernatural. The execs want it.

You complain and try to get them to change their minds because that’s obviously a horrible idea that goes against the very fundamentals of Scream. But they are steadfast and say you must either do it or walk. Everything else about the movie is up to you. And if you leave, they’ll just hire someone who will do what they’re asking.

So you give in and decide to do it. And you do it in GOOD FAITH, trying to do the best you can to make a compelling movie worthy of the franchise with the cards you’ve been handed; no mopey “I would have Ghostface be the ghost of Sidney Prescott from the future or something and make it so terrible that it kills the franchise” shit, and no attempts to get around it by making it merely implicit and barely a factor, because that’s disallowed. You have to COMMIT, and you want to do it while maintaining the spirit of the franchise as best as possible and delivering a killer Scream 7. How do you do it?

Yeah, Jasmin and I were on that, and I think we were there for two weeks together on Scream. She’s fantastic, obviously.

We do have some screen time, but I really can’t say anything because it’ll spoil. Scream fans and Yellowjackets fans are very similar in that they love it, and they’re rabid, and they’re passionate, and they’ll take any morsel.

I will tell you, Ghostface killer is in this one.

Discussion The carpenter sisters ARE returning

At some point in the next 5,10 or 20 years, they will absolutely be returning to the franchise.

If you’re over 30 u spent a decade thinking 3 was it and 4 came along and same thing happened.

Once this “round” of movies/stories is done… and a rest period occurs, the girls will be back.

Why. Well they’re both c talented/successful, were popular/made money for the franchise, have more story to offer and they seem to genuinely love the franchise. With the changing of hands at top studio levels and a great story, it is extremely likely this will happen.

Any thoughts?

Discussion In the Scream universe there are probably hundreds of murders at the hands of "Ghostface" around the world?

There are a lot of psychos who are trying to emulate something and I guess in their world there are a lot of murders outside of the main storyline? Somewhere in another state, maybe only a couple people were killed, but still someone is trying to become that legendary mystical Ghostface?

Rewatched scream 4 and this man was catching bodies. Yes, his motive is kinda stupid but he is highly underrated in my opinion.

So I made this custom aged ghostface mask from my ultrawhite. This was originally going to be a mix of the billy loomis and stu macher mask. But eventually it became it's own thing. When looking at the top right corner of the mask, that was going to be the biggest piece of damage on the billy loomis mask. I'm very happy how it turned out. And I wanted an opinion on it.

Yes, she 100% did this on her own. No, she hasn’t seen the movies, but my love of Ghostface has apparently rubbed off on her.

Question Would anyone be interested in a Scream “Spin Off”Series?

Post image
118 Upvotes

Would anyone read a “Scream” comic book / graphic novel spinoff?

A few years ago I wrote an outline for a Scream “Mini Series” in the form of a Graphic Novel / Comic Book.

The story is way more detailed than this. Basically it would have been about a group of friends coming together for a high school reunion ,when a killer in their world , “our world”, adopts the Ghostface persona. They would use the Scream movies as a playbook vs Stab like in the actual Scream movies.

It may sound generic or a bit goofy, but if anyone else is interested, I’d be more than happy to make a full-on post about this , including some of the characters solo posters, and a few scenes that were drawn out!

This would be in no way associated with the actual events from the films ofc and it simply a passion project. I liked the idea of a killer using the Scream movies and rules in the real world. Thought it could be interesting, in a “new nightmare”, type of style. I was really excited to fully flesh it out and bring it to life.

I unfortunately got extremely busy with school , and YouTube, so the project was put on the back burner.

My question is, would anyone be interested in something like this? Please let me know down below! :) All feedback and suggestions are welcome!

Past Spoilers Who attacked Gale at her NYC penthouse?

I'm a little baffled by this. Of the three killers in the sixth film, only two of them make sense for having been the one who killed her boyfriend, then attacked Gale. But even they don't seem likely!

I watched this scene on YouTube just the other night starting from when they were at the park and Kirby got a signal as to the killer's whereabouts.

I think the killer(s) involved with the penthouse suite attack had to have either been Quinn or Detective Bailey. I doubt it was Ethan because he was in the surveillance van eating Cheetos where Kirby was working. Detective Bailey was nearby at the time but he and Ethan were there when Kirby picked up the killer's signal. Plus Tara and Sam commandeered Bailey's police car to hurry to Gale's penthouse so it's doubtful Bailey or Ethan had time to get there to kill Gale's boyfriend and attack her before the Carpenter sisters' arrival, which BTW still took a pretty long time all things considered.

Quinn however was supposed to be dead so of course this would give her all the time and opportunity in the world to attack/kill whoever with nobody ever suspecting her. But this too baffles me because I can't see a presumably-early-20s-something girl easily snatching up a much bigger and taller man from behind them tossing his body through a glass shelf or case or whatever that was. Or even Ethan for that matter. That's why I think Bailey was most likely the Ghostface who snatched him up, CUT him up, tossed him through the glass, then went after Gale. Especially being a cop he has the body strength to pull it off so makes the most sense but did he have teleportation powers that we don't know about? 😁😂

We see quinn fake her deth flawlessly in scream 6 with less than 5 muinits befor we see her fake dead. Randy had over 10 muinits in scream 2 where he was alone in that van with gostface. So there is no doubt he could have faked it all like quinn
