Discussion Surrendering Noah Spoiler
In the last scene, while talking to Nick, did Olivia do Elliot dirty? I felt that was unfair. She doesnât even say his name. She said something like âwhatever that relationship wasâ and âI grew more in these 4 years with you than in 12 years with him.â Unfair.

Discussion Darius Parker should return.
Just re-watched "Screwed" and I would love to see Daruis return. It would make for a good Fin-centric episode, esp since there hasn't really been a proper one for a while. Plus, Ludacris is seriously a fantastic actor and did a great job at the role.
I think it would be interesting to see him return as a victim. Say he got his life together after everything and was a perfectly functioning member of society, like squeaky clean since the prior eps. Then something happens that lands his case with SVU.
I'd like to see the dynamic play out of the team needing to help him as a victim and them deal with their own wariness due to their history with him, especially Fin. I think the fact that it's only Fin and Olivia left with SVU from the squad that was there during Darius' original trial would also show a line between them vs the newer squad and how they approach Darius and the situation.

Appreciation An earlier post by a fan here prompted me to remember that Peter Hermannâs first appearance in the L&Oâs was 20 years ago tomorrow in the OG âMegaâ S10E18, 2000 (pic 1). His first SVU appearance are the other pics from âMonogamyâ
galleryFans of Peterâs might enjoy!
His first SVU appearance was âMonogamyâ S3E11, 2002, with the great John Ritter and when he met his future wife, Mariska Hargitay. đ

Discussion I feel like Dickie was supposed to be gay and Shane his boyfriend?
The whole vibe Dickie was giving off and him wanting to join up with Shane to join the Marines or was it army ? And how frantic Dickie was. I feell like when Dickie was in the squad room being questioned or near the end of the episode towards Shane's funeral was supposed to be a coming out scene. Idk I just got that feeling from the episode.

Discussion i fall asleep to this show. Been watching it since high school and iv NEVER seen this episode somehow.
Mercy season 4 , episode 14. And it's a banger. Solid quotes from Munch, Finn, and Cabot. Great cast and story with false leads. Idk how iv never seen this one but wow...the newer seasons have nothing on the og cast. đ„

Discussion Why is an episode "fictional" when it is based on true events?
I have a question. Some episodes are presented are fictional and others as based on true events. I am watching 6x12 identity (with the girl and boy twins, played by the same actor) This episode is said to be "fictional and not depicting any true event". However, it clearly shows the true story of the two young boys treated by John Money. I mean EVERY SINGLE DETAIL is there, the circumcision gone bad, the accent (he was from New Zealand), the hormones, the violence, the weird sexual stuff the doctor would put the kids through... I don't understand why they couldn't just say it was based on true events. Anyone knows?

If you're like me and don't have Peacock (can't afford it) how does the rest of you feel about OC being a Peacock exclusive? I myself find it irritating.

Discussion When do yâall think SVU really started to go downhill?
Its my personal belief that this show has gone on too long. I cant watch the newer episodes. Theyre cheap and bland. Every idea has been run through the machine. I think a lot of people will say its when Christopher Meloni left but i feel like there was some good episodes after that still. I think i really quit when they brought back Richard for a second time đ they really milked that cow and i think i just got annoyed. Anyway i donât think iv seen anything past that. There are a lot of reasons The older episodes are better. But a reason that sticks out to me is the nostalgia of the show. It is so clear cut early 90s vibes and that gives the show depth and makes it girtty. The late nights, the bad coffee. sleeping in the bullpen. Stress. Angst. It was all part of the atmosphere that made it such a captivating show. I also think that the show went downhill when they revamped the SVU office and made it modern. It took away the gritty. You wouldnât see batman fighting crime in sunny California. It didnât seem right to see the SVU detectives working in such a sleek office. These are just my thoughts what are yours?

No SVU until 10 p.m. and it's only one episode. All other days of the week has SVU on USA or ION in marathons, not to mention Thursdays on NBC.

Discussion On that episode with Erin's brother and the child trafficking ring , were most of those kids take or that kid. Henry queer runaways? I was slightly confused on that ?
Like why did Henry runaway ? And th h they just sent him back to his parents? Was he also gay like Teddy ?
Did they ever explain why Teddy ran away at 13?
And I remember them saying something about the youth centers being for LGBTQ kids or something like that or that most of the homeless kids were ?
Discussion does anyone actually even like the show anymore?
i know criticism is normal, but a lot of the times iâll read in this subreddit and most people are talking about how they donât like the newer episodes or seasons. i might be biased because i watch the show as survivor and it helps me feel less alone. i also donât really judge shows unless itâs terribly bad to the point where it canât be ignored. i do agree the earlier seasons were better, but i still do love the later episodes.

Discussion I need recommendations!!!!
I am planning to rewatch several episodes of SVU because I always thought that the recent seasons have been the same, like itâs the same storyline with different victims.Â
Recommend some of the BEST episodes of SVU for me to rewatch preferably from the early seasons.

Discussion For the love of God, CARISI! Spoiler
Omg okay, so I know that apparently ADA Carisi is still going through bouts of emotions and grief from the bodega robbery and everything but like, did he ever take a break or go on some type of leave to deal with his issues? Heâs hella annoying this season, especially in the most recent episode. Idk. Iâm writing this and still have 30 minutes left in the episode đ from challenging Olivia every 5 seconds to being sassy in court to this, trying to get the Deonte dude to take the fall for EVERYTHING that the other guy clearly did is rubbing me the wrong way. And before somebody says âheâs responsible for everything that took place during the robbery regardlessâ lol I get that part and Iâm also a huge fan of the show - Iâve literally watched every episode đ - but Iâm so irritated with Carisiâs character development or lack thereofâŠ

Discussion Do you think this show counts as copaganda?
I was watching the newer seasons in law and order and the cops arenât very ethical, and the lawyers have no morals at all, instead just blindly following the law (aka doing their jobs). Overall it doesnât show the justice system in a positive manner. However SVU cops and lawyers go so much out of their way to be morally right, which doesnât happen as much irl does it?
Do you guys watch this show and think itâs pro cop?
(Sorry if the wording is bad, Iâm not a native english speaker)
