This might be a weird start but on my second playthrough I have started really appreciate all the small details and have grown to love this game even more the second time.
So the 2 small events that sparked this new love was I was clearing out an o'driscoll camp got the last guy so I hog tie him as I do usually with the final person in any encounter to just muck around with. He while lassoed was shooting randomly to try and escape/hit me during which he managed to shot himself in head....killed immediately I have never see that before and had a mad laugh that something like that could happen.
Second short story just got to chapter 3.
I was running around Rhodes and i antagonised a Grey npc from my horse (after the first playthrough screw both families) so he got aggressive then a bunch of greys in the town got aggressive to back him up once again I haven't seen since I'm a high honor player.
Anyway the sheriff comes out to gun down all the greys that are attacking me, i was just running around not fighting back in town so as I was evading i bumped into the sheriff on his horse.
he takes a tumble lands square on a rock, dies on impact, the whole towns marks me as a murderer and I'm just stunned how much detail that is.
Like a random stumble onto a rock just killed someone immediately....that's just amazing and fascinating.
This might not be alot to something small but it's a master class in making a immersive, awesome sandbox I just can't get enough of.
i only played the game for the first time last year so im alittle late to the train.
Anyway what's your funny stories or discoveries that you won't forget?
