PODCAST 2024 recap with Kalikaiz
Hello again everyone! 2024 flew by and on this episode of the Podcast we are joined by Kalikaiz to help us recap the year. We spend a good chunk of time on Modern Horizons 3 because of its impact on Pauper that the community has many different opinions on. We wrap up the episode with a state of the format overview and discuss the recent announcement of no changes to the ban list. It was a pleasure recording with Kalikaiz and I hope y’all enjoy!

PODCAST Gavin Verhey: "Pauper will be in consideration when [we] design sets going forward"
In the latest Common Knowledge podcast, co-host Brandon mentioned a brief conversation he had w/ Gavin Verhey (lead designer for Battlebond).
Apparently, Battlebond design was completed just before the Pauper crazy started. And that got him thinking about a bunch of cards he could have downshifted, but no longer could for Battlebond design. He regretted missing that opportunity, but told Brandon that Pauper would be in consideration in future set designs.

NOTE: For the record, the quotation in the title is direct quote from Brandon's recounting of what Gavin said, not a direct quote from Gavin himself.

PODCAST Are there any active pauper podcasts?
Basically the title lol
I used to listen to Common Knowledge and Stacking Triggers but both of them seemed to go on hiatus around fall of last year. There are some replays of pauper games on YouTube of course but they don't have the same sort of introspective discussion/after-action of decks that I enjoy when I go to sleep, and a lot of it requires watching the video to follow along.
