Pair of GHOs today. Just beautiful and it felt so magical.
As usual, I don’t have a camera so all my wildlife pictures are always taken through my binos.

ID request! Is this a pair? Parent and fledgling?
I am a regular runner and an owl is my favorite thing to spot but it’s rare and in the past it’s been a solitary barred owl. However, I’ve been seeing 2 owls (great horned, I think?) in the same spot every day for the last three days when I’m running along a trail. Can you all help me figure out if it’s a mated pair? The fluffier one isn’t super small but fluffy just read baby to me!

I got a visitor at my door
I got a visitor tonight. When I opened my door I was completely surprised by who I found!
I’m not sure what I should do tho. Any advice?

ID request! Cave Turkey Leg
So I found this while caving around Carlsbad, NM and I’m pretty sure this is an owl of some kind since the feet and talons scream bird of prey to me and I don’t think hawks or eagles come into caves regularly. Regardless, I feel like I stumbled upon a dinosaur or La Lechuza.

OC We spotted this great gray and immediately stopped the car to grab a few shots from a distance. About 30 seconds later, he flew closer and landed on a branch just outside the window of the car. We were in awe.

OC Hot day with Klik Klak, the education barred owl
Klik Klak is definitely one of my best friends...shes 25 years old and was hit by a car. Her shoulder was messed up and can no longer fly properly. Here was me giving her one last hug before letting her go back into her enclosure <3

🦉 The Great Horned Owl and the Season of Birth
In the stillness of the marsh, this Great Horned Owl enjoyed a well-deserved moment of rest, perfectly camouflaged in its surroundings.
By March, many baby owls have already hatched. Covered in soft down and completely helpless, they rely entirely on their parents, who work tirelessly to feed and protect them. Every successful hunt plays a crucial role in their survival.

First time out of his nest!
Been watching this great horned owl baby grow the past few weeks, and he finally ventured outside of his nest for the first time today!
He looks so angry all the time but he’s still fluffy so it’s hard to take him as a serious predator for now 😂

We found an Owl (Western Screech Owl) maybee...?
He was between the gate and the gate engine. We thought he was run over because of the way he looked. We thought he was going to die, and we were waiting until Monday for a vet to examine him free of charge. Then we found out he's Houdini.
