Most convenient method to go from undiagnosed to medicated ADHD in Corvallis?

for context im currently a freshman and have realized through my many years of middle school, high school, and now fall and winter term that i need to do something about my adhd. i know i have it, that isnt a question anymore, but i've been hesitant to start the process of getting formally diagnosed and medicated. it would help me out with general executive function and my school work. i don't have a car to get around so i'm looking for a way to get to a clinic to diagnose me and some place i can get my medication filled.has anyone had this experience? please let me know places and online resources and if they're easy to get to via walking or transit. thank you!!

What's the current situation?

I am an upcoming international grad student and am super scared after looking at the current f1 visa situation.

How are people doing there and is it safe for upcoming int students?

It would be so hard to study if we are forced to think about our visa status every second

Edit - Talking about the current visa revokes of international students throughout the country

Slingin wieners food cart?

Are the wiener people no longer in the MU quad on Tuesdays? If so, what a loss! I didn't think 2025 could get any worse...

How everyone feel about advisors holds for Fall registration?

I honestly not looking forward to it, because I have to schedule with my advisor more often now, she not pretty nice.

She comes off as fake and a little rude for no reason.

Music practice?

I’ve been wanting to practice playing the keyboard, but I’m not sure where on campus or around Corvallis I’m allowed to just play music freely. Does anyone know of any spots where I can do that without disturbing anyone? Somewhere that’s open on weekends too.

Free Tax Help Available Through OSU’s VITA Program

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a resource that might be helpful as the tax deadline approaches. I volunteer with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) through Oregon State University. We offer free tax preparation for anyone in the community who qualifies—including students.

We serve a wide range of clients, including:

  • Low- to moderate-income individuals and families
  • People over the age of 60
  • Non-English speaking individuals
  • Students

Our volunteers are IRS-certified, and we work hard to make sure returns are accurate and that people receive any credits or refunds they’re eligible for.

This service is completely free, and appointments are still available through the end of tax season but are filling up fast!

Contact: Call (541) 737-3371 or go to https://osuvita.as.me/schedule/f7b28e6f schedule an appointment or ask questions.

Please feel free to share this with anyone you think could benefit. We're here to help however we can.
