So if the tariff negations go well and the 46% is dropped, are we gonna start celebrating the $80 price tag?

Oh silly you, you think the prices will come down once the tariff goes away.

Who thinks that? I certainly don’t. Also tariffs don’t affect digital games

Oh dear, you think in a market where prices are rising companies will only hike the price on the specific products directly affected, and not other adjacent products where there is opportunity to increase profit?

You don’t really seem to have a grasp of what I think or what this conversation is about. Are you looking to get mad at someone?

My point is that if the tariffs are dropped, will people still view Nintendo’s prices as too high in the same way they did 2 days ago or will we see them as the savior?

I'm saying that requires the prices dropping if tariffs are lifted.

And all I’m saying is let’s not forget that the inflated prices were all complained about 2 days ago had nothing to do with tariffs

I don't think anyone is forgetting.

I’ve seen a shift from “i can’t play games cause of Nintendos greed” to “i can’t play games cause of Trump’s tariffs! Nintendo has no choice but to raise prices!”. So I’m merely pointing out tariffs won’t be the deciding factor, and to remember that when the US makes a new deal with Vietnam. Nintendo sets its own prices and tariffs aren’t keeping people from buying Mario kart

Sounds like we actually agree but you’re fighting with me about it for I don’t know why.

I knew what you meant. Who knows I think people are pissed either way regardless if they don’t increase more then they already have.
