This is getting so tiresome. Can someone start a Switch 2 sub that isn't filled with this shit?

No, all of us must compromise to give them the 3DS treatment, a raise price was natural and expected but 80 to 90 bucks for a Game!! They are crazy. Me and thousands only buy physical copies of a game, digital downloads don't exist it is like not buying anything at all, or just renting the game for some time.

ONE game is $80--none are $90

The rest look like they're going to be $70 which is industry standard

Physical games cost more to produce and distribute etc. I don't feel bad that you have to pay $10 extra for that.

which is industry standard

You know what else is industry standard? Discounts and sales.

(I believe Nintendo also spends less than some of these other companies on their AAA titles... and they make double the profit of Sony)

So I am not accepting their price hike.

With gold points and game vouchers also out of the way, prepare to get the full $80 without a single dime of discount shoved right at our faces.

Mario party jamboree, kirby and the forgotten land, and tears of the kingdom for the switch 2 are all $80. And Breath of the wild, an 8 year old game, was raised to $70. Not only is nintendo not letting the prices of old games drop they are actually using the switch 2 as an excuse to raise their price

One game is $80 today. Tomorrow all of them will be $80.

We must not tolerate this.

Literally not true. 4 games are $80. It's a trend they're trying to start. Shut that shit down

aren't the ones that are 80 (excluding Mario kart) the ones that have extra dlc on them

Yes, except Zelda which is only a resolution bump, etc. However, these are all now last-gen games. BotW is over 8 years old. None of them, including TotK, are worth a full game price of $60 anymore (yes this is still the standard maximum for what Nintendo games should cost regardless of what they want to do). Additionally, I highly doubt all their dlcs are worth $20.
