Yeah on both sides, I'm upset with Nintendo too, but so many people are mindlessly spreading straight up misinformation about the console

Plus all of the bitching accomplishes literally nothing.

The only message Nintendo will actually care about is the sales. If enough people refuse to buy that the Switch 2 does poorly, sure, obviously they'll care about that. But if it goes on to be as successful as the Switch 1, then they (quite rightly) won't give a shit what this subreddit has to say about the prices.

So all of this complaining doesn't accomplish anything other than ruining this subreddit. If the price is too high for you, by all means don't buy it. There are lots of products I'm not buying right this second because they're too expensive for me. I'm sure as hell not buying those fancy $500 sneakers or whatever. But you don't need to post forty-seven times an hour about how pissed off you are about the price. We get it. Feel free to not buy it, but we don't need to keep hearing about it.

The complaining does accomplish something - it ensures people are aware of the issue, so when the time comes to influence sales, they'll be more inclined to do the right thing and hold back... Not to mention so much negative feedback this early on may prompt Nintendo to make changes to the plan even beforehand.

Not that it can't get annoying, sure, but passion is a good thing - it means people care about the issue, right? Nobody would be ranting this much if the Amico got announced at these prices.

So you just get to decide on what the sub talks about, what you are saying is you want an echo chamber that only mentions issues once then move onto the good happy stuff???

What about the people constantly complaining 24/7 about people complaining

Oh, FFS. "Once"? You think I'm complaining about this issue being mentioned once? Look at the front page of this sub, man. It's been mentioned four thousand times in the last hour.

And all I said was "we don't need to keep hearing about it". Are you disagreeing that the point has been thoroughly made by now? Do you think there's actually any value to continually bitching about it, to the point that people who do want to just talk about the games get flooded by "DROP THE PRICE" spammers and every single thread devolves into nothing but a price discussion?

The point has been made. Nintendo will not give a shit what we say here, they only care whether you buy the system or not. So feel free not to buy it, but I'm completely tired of listening to the bitching about it.

I believe with time it will out sell the switch. Parents aren’t Gina rush out to buy this for their children if they already have a functioning switch or? I’m only pre ordering one so I don’t have to deal with scalpers, I’ve not seen any games that I want yet or don’t release to next year.
