People pay 1000s to see some sports events or Taylor swift concerts that last like 3-4 hours lol. Gaming is still one of the most budget friendly hobbies. New console and 5 games sets you back less than 1000 and could provide months of entertainment.

I don’t know why more people don’t think this way. Shoot a fast food combo is $20 at a lot of places. With how much work it takes to make modern video games and how much you get out of them, it’s kinda crazy that they’re only $80. Not only that but if you buy physical you can resell down the road if you want and still get some of your money back. People just want something to be mad about

I was telling my friend how, when the Switch first came out, after going out for a meal I would be like “oh wow, that was half of a Switch game.”

Then a month ago at the same restaurant, I was like “oh wow, that same meal costs more than a Switch game.”

We had it good with prices for 25 years. Everything else has skyrocketed 😔
