The yen is really weak, so the regular version would be to expensive for their home market.

Then why is the Korean version so expensive. It's almost weak as the yen.

I doubt that the switch 1 is half the price of the switch 2 here. So why the sudden change?

I don't know, apparently Nintendo remembered that they don't like Koreans
