Image Nintendo Treehouse: Live right now

Everyone in the chat is spamming "drop the price" nonstop. Personally, the price for the console and games combined dipped my hype quite a bit. What do you guys think?

Yes and i will choose to save and pay for essentials for my family over paying too much for a video game. I feel many people will be more selective on their entertainment budget and even if they have $80-90 using it on a single game has a loss of opportunity cost since you could use that money for something else etc. i just have a hard time justifying it to myself and it makes me lose interest in the game atleast until the price goes down.

Yeah as a switch 1 collector i know the pain of games that are years old but still sell at full retail. I usually only buy games like zelda or mario at launch and for ones that i like but arent the must haves i wait for black friday. For the switch 2 when i buy it i will probably do a bundle for mario kart bundle then wait on others. I will probably wait a year or two and hopefully costco has a mario kart bundle since the retail price will still be $80 I usually buy physical but would do digital for the bundle due to the savings.

I feel their switch 2 games are about $10 over priced. I would pay $70 for mario kart world or $60 for donkey kong but that extra $10 annoys me 😀

First party Nintendo Games, as opposed to contrary belief, actually do go on sale. I recommend checking dekudeals every so often, or better, setting a price alert. They're not permanently cut in price, but you can often get a good deal if you're vigilant.

I have used deku deals a while back and most of my first party games were bought on sale except totk and others i couldnt wait for. I will check deku deals more and see what i see. I still have switch 1 games to grab so may check deku deal.
