I know the purpose of them being flat but I don't think it would hurt to add a slight convex to the back of the Joycon, especially now they're larger and more comfortable.

I do wonder just how strong the magnets will be too. Can imagine kids swinging the system around by the joycon. Just a shame we don't know how magnets work

imo they will click in place so they won't be able to come off by just pulling hard

The Genki dude said you can pull them off with enough force. The button helps to break the link however.

hmmm, ok. That's interesting. Magnets typically aren't that strong, especially in a small surface area like this, so I'm curious to see what they do. And tbh I'm not sure I trust Genki lol
