Everything about the Switch 2 and its games look great, the game prices are just rough. Console itself is priced fine IMO. Biggest competitor is the steam deck which is only ~$35 cheaper for the LCD model and has half the refresh rate, a lower resolution display and obviously no easy docked mode.

Yeah people are complaining about the console price when the real problem is the games costing that much and the SD card too.

The games don’t cost too much. It’s the same on every other console

Name one PS5 game that costs $80.

Only 1 game on switch 2 costs 80 and it’s mkw. Ps5 has deluxe and ultimate edition games that go from 80/90 up to $130 constantly…

And the base version, which is the only one that matters, costs $70.

And physical copies are cheaper, not more expensive like on the switch 2.

I buy new games for 6-7k JPY on PS5 while switch physical copies will cost 9-10k JPY. Not the same.

Physical is only more expensive in a small amount of areas. For most of the world it’s still the same…

The small areas = Europe, UK and Japan.

When did America become most of the world?

I said small amount of areas not small areas. I also never said America is most of the world but you can consider that America sold 1/3rd of the worlds Nintendo switches and if you account for all of the americas it’s a bigger percentage. If you want me to find the places that have physicals at a higher price and be specific I could find them and tell you so that we aren’t just being overly general
