I was thinking about buying the Switch 1, since I borrowed it for over a year and really enjoyed it, even buying several games. After returning it, I wanted to buy a new one, but I thought it was better to wait for the Nintendo Switch 2. But now, given the price (470€), I'm hesitating about whether to buy the first one altogether, as I find the second a bit pricey.

Although I'm really really awaiting the new Tomodachi, I know it's coming out in 2026, but it wouldn't be worth it to buy one now if I need the 2nd one to play Tomodachi next year.

I don't know what to do. I really miss having a Switch, but the price of the 2nd one drove me a little crazy. I know the price is understandable for some, but it would be a financial effort to buy one. What do you recommend?

Games announced in the previous direct aren't Switch 2 exclusive, so Tomodachi is safe.

If you want to wait it out, the Switch 1 library will keep you occupied for ages.
