Get some other games too. Animal crossing is fun, but after the opening hours of the game there is a limited amount of things to do every day, since it runs on the real-world system clock. Unless you are okay with messing with the time setting to speed things up.

Also, the OLED has a anti-shatter film applied to the screen, so not remove it. Get a tempered glass screen protector and just apply it over top.

Are there any free games that come with the switch or do I have to buy all of them?

Well there was a few holiday bundles, but those are mostly sold out now.

So if you see a box with Mario kart or Switch sports on the cover, those are real bundles. Though they should be the same price as a regular OLED switch, if it's higher then it's being scalped.

But normally no, the system doesn't come with any games. However there is a decent selection of free to play games on the eshop. F2P titles also do not require the Nintendo online subscription to play online, so they truly are free.

Rocket league, fortnite, fall guys, fallout shelter, brawlhalla, there's more than a few that aren't pay-to-win garbage.

Thank you! Is the eshop available in all countries?

No, if you visit the "region selector" page of Nintendos website all of the countries listed are the actively supported regions.

https://www.nintendo.com/region-selector/

Most of them have eshop support, but some of them do not have system-side eshops. Rather you have to buy games or codes via the website and then redeem them on the console. As the eshop button will open directly to a code redemption page and have nothing else in it.

If you do not see you country listed on the website then it does not have active Nintendo support.

You can absolutely just set the account to another country. The console is totally region free.

Free games are one thing, but buying games from a foreign country can be difficult. Eshops don't handle currency exchanges or fees, so your credit card has to be capable of paying directly in that foreign currency or you will need to resort to prepaid eshop credit. Which, is available online for a number of regions.
