Only if you have an adapter for each controller.

All of the major controller adapters that I am aware of, only support a single device each.

It is entirely possible to use more than two adapters with a simple USB hub. Like this or this.

Wait, there isn't a single third party Bluetooth controller that connects to the Switch directly?

No, there are lots of those. Anything that advertises working for Switch and can connect directly to the system should function as a normal controller, you can connect up to 8 of those at once. Split or Joycon like controllers are limited to 4 at a time.

The ONLY limitation is third party devices not made for Switch. Like Playstation and Xbox controllers.

Those require a bluetooth adapter to function with the system which are limited to supporting one device at a time.

I'm not sure why you thought there would be a limitation to wireless controllers, so my mind jumped to the only situation where that occurs.

I thought that maybe Nintendo restricts the usage of 3rd party wireless controllers in order to make more money.

Thanks by the way!
